Favourite season is probably either the winter or the summer. The winter is alright for a little while, but then I feel like the snow just hasn't got that feeling of nice to it any more. The summer too is nice but, I don't like the way that the grass has the strange appearance to it when the sun is setting or sometimes rising. The few squares around you are normal but suddenly it gets hazy instead of doing that slowly, which makes it ugly. I like these seasons more for the weather.
On the other hand, I'm not a fan of the autumn. It's not bad, but the thing is that the grass in town turns orange, and red, which is not realistic to me (I play the game quite realistically but not completely), and it turns brown at one point which is horrific and it appears dead which is unappealing. The leaves are a nice colour, but I think that the grass ruins it, especially when it is brown.
The best weather in my opinion is the rain, followed closely by the snow. Rainy weather is nice because the music changes and the sound of the rain is nice and it is very natural too. It also calms me down faster if I'm angry about something. The music in some hours is also very loud or a little bit over-the-top in either the mood that it sets or the hour is it put with. If it rains in one of those hours, or snows, the music is calmer and less vibrant. The snow is nice too, since it doesn't make a sound as much and it is quite calm as well, it creates a nice atmosphere when it's settled on the ground. The heavier the rain or the snow is, the nicer it is. I have my town Chukotka set in the winter, it passes through all of the winter when the snow is on the ground (December 11 - February 25), when it reaches the last day I take it back. On the other hand, my second town Nazran is set in the summer on July 12 because it has rain (mostly rainstorms) lasting all day, the only time I know there is a break from it being a rainstorm is 6am (where it starts) and from 1-4pm where it's normal rain. I put snow after because it sounds a little bit empty, especially during the night.
The worst weather I think is when it's cloudy. When it's more than a few small clouds passing through the sky, but less than when it's going to rain and when there are breaks between them with a darker grey or a blue between the breaks, it's just horrible and it looks very dull. There is nothing interesting happening and it just brings the mood down.
