I live a little over 3 hours from my mom. I wish she lived closer. I was wondering how far away do you live from your family/folks? How often do you go see them?

My parents are both in Heaven waiting for my arrival so I guess you could say that I am just a moment in time away from seeing them.

I'm a 10 and a half hour flight away from my entire family back in California. I'm currently living in Japan at the other end of the pond. I haven't gone back to visit since I came last year, but I might go for the holidays at the end of this year.

I'm always 1-2 hours away from my mom. I feel guilty because I want to see her as much as possible, however I realize I need to live life and be an adult~

Also gonefishing, that is a beautiful yet morbid way to think about it.

I’m over 1,000 miles away from my mom and sister, even further from my dad. I’ve gotten used to being far away from family and with technology being great, I normally FaceTime them at least once a week.

About a 30-minute drive from both of my siblings and an hour-long ferry ride from my grandma. My parents are a 4-hour drive from me, but they visit my siblings, grandma, and myself pretty frequently. And I recently spent a weekend at my parents' house (my childhood home).

I live 2 minutes down the road from my parents,
which is great for when I lock myself out...not so great when they let themselves into my apartment whilst I'm at work and scare the living daylights out of me when I get home haha.

I currently live about two hours away from my parents, which seems to afford all the independence I could want. That said, with the frequency that I see my parents, I may as well be living on Mars. I suppose that's an exaggeration, but it's rare that my homesickness flares up that badly. It's always lovely to visit, though!

I live in the same neighborhood with my parents, less than a mile away. We live about a 15 minute drive from hubby's parents. We're homebodies!

I'm 45 minute train journey from my family

I'm about a 30 minute drive away, which is too close for my liking.

I've seen them at my job before and hoo boy did i nearly break my leg turning 180 to get away

2.5 hour drive from my parents, sometimes I think that's not far enough.

About 20 minutes from my dad (in Florida) and over 1,000 miles from my mom & siblings who are spread out between the Midwest and East coast...

I'm in Louisiana, sister #1 lives with me, sister #2 is at college in Ohio, sister #3 graduates high school this year and lives with my parents in Colorado.

It's about 1h50m with the car. I like that distance cause it is not too far away so that you can visit easily!

I'm about to move 14 hours away, but that's fine because right now I live about a couple blocks away from my family and still barely see them.

I'm about 2000 miles away from my parents, but being in the military will take you to places you never thought you'd be.

I'm about 5 hours away and in a different state, but it's due to school. I see them about once a semester, but this year I won't be home again until May.

I live with family.  I work a full time job making over minimum wage and still can't afford rent at these crazy prices

3 hours away by car, and we see each other once a month.

Luckily for me only about 15 minutes. Before I moved into a bigger apartment I even used to go home to do laundry every week Now that I don't see her as I often I find myself missing her. Especially as we're going into a stay at home order for the next 30 days due to current circumstances.

I livee in china, my parents live in UK have not gone home for 3 years haha.

I live in Colorado and the rest of my family lives in Louisiana no needless to say, I don’t get to see them that often

I still live with my immediate family include grandma. One cousin is in town and the other is a few towns over. I don't have a relationship with one of my grandmothers, but she's also a few towns over. I haven't seen her since I was 19.
