Like the title says, I've had this account since middle school. I'm currently graduating college as a fifth year and it's so weird to think I used to spend literally hours on this website. I look over and the buddies bar and see that no one on my list has logged on for years. I wonder what they're up to now.
I have a distinct memory of spending NYE 2007 on here and posting in a PM with around 15 other friends, going over what the year brought us and what our resolutions were. It's crazy to think they're just some random people also out there living their lives.
Anyone else been on this website for over a decade and still reminisce?

philadelphia. age 26, been on this site since 2007.
God, I was 8 years old when I made this account, and I'm about to turn 21. It was before Wild World came out.
4th grade, 5th grade, middle school, high school, early college, and I'm about to graduate next semester. Where did the time go? I'm feeling pretty strange about it tonight.
Its crazy we got to live through those times. The internet will not have places like this for much longer (with the invention of Reddit, etc.)

We came here to burgle your turts!
I joined when I was 16. Pushing 30 now... I’m still a big Animal Crossing fan so I log in here regularly. I still have my original Wild World file and the nostalgia takes over whenever I play it because my town is in the same condition as it was when I abandonned it (before City Folk came out) I’ve got vivid memories of the patterns I proudly displayed on my ground that one of my friends made and gifts others gave me. I get a feeling of emptiness whenever I play.
It’s an unhealthy obsession. I’m aware that they probably forgot about me but I still can’t help but appreciate them just for being my friend.
Coincidentally, it looks like my anniversary date on here is the exact same as esunny!
Who would’ve known twelve years could go by so fast? I remember spending hours and hours talking to friends on here - day and night. This website and the people on it were my life for several years as a child with no friends. I remember fondly a lot of the people I talked to, and even more so the people I talked to often. I’m sure now they’ve all moved on and forgotten about ACC, but I hope that occasionally they look back at some of the great memories.
I’m now 23, having my first little boy in July. I wish there would be something like this for him as he grows up, a great place to make memories and friends.. but I fear there won’t be. Even ACC has changed a lot in terms of friendliness I feel.
Tonight I saw a tweet talking about shutting down Facebook and everyone going back to that random website we used to spend all our time on, so here I am. I made my account when I was 10, and now I'm 20. Seems crazy. I used to spend a ton of time here. My brother and I would fight over who got to use the computer, which meant we got to spend time on ACC. Tonight I couldn't remember my user name and password, and realized that the email I used to create this account is long gone. It's so crazy how time flies and so much changes. If you'd told ten year old me what 20 year old me was doing and thinking right now I would've never believed you.
Something made me randomly think about this website after yeaaaaaars. Can't believe it was 2007 when I joined. It was so popular then and just like the person that posted this thread I couldn't believe how dead it's become. I was 13 when I created this account and I'm 22 now. So crazy and so many memories.

Yeah, I was on here at 12 and now I’m 21. I check in once every so often (read years) and hope to see some more activity. I want to reclaim some of the old times with many full BTs, but I don’t think that’ll happen. I still recognise some people in this thread, so that’s a good sign
Maybe we should create a BT with everyone who’s lamenting at ACC being dead, then it might not seem so bad.

I don't even recall how old I was when I first came on the site, but it's certainly been a year. You've re-contextualized the thought for me, though; it was definitely over a decade ago that I came on. I've been back sporadically for days or weeks at a time, but it's probably been a good three or four years at least since that happened. Guess that's what university does to a schedule!
It's good to see all of you lovely old folks! I even recognize some of the usernames, which is... interesting, to say the least.
Never thought I'd actually fit into the "Grownup Gamers" section of the Forums...

Turns out I've never been good at writing these...
Heh heh HOORF!
I joined on my 13th birthday. I’m 24 now. This was my very first forum. Crazy to think it’s still around tbh.

What if you say "Hi," to your friend on an airplane who's name is Jack?
Funny how i see a thread like this after randonly deciding to log in. I first joined in 2007. I made a few good friends here. Is this place still as booming as back then?

It seems like there's still a bunch of people around, not quite as many as around the time of CF or NL. I know I don't really have any buddies that are still around so I'm more on the boards than in BTs these days.

I was also eleven when I joined this site. AC was an awesome part of my childhood, and this site was my favorite thing ever back in 2007. Never thought I'd officially qualify to be posting on the "GG Off Topic" section, but fast forward eleven years and here we are. I'm really glad something urged me to log back in today, I just had a flashback of some great memories from the times I spent on here.

I don't breathe the way I used to.
I haven't been around since 2012. I stopped coming a little after a friend I made here killed himself. Depressing note to the side, I remember always logging in from my flip phone and receiving notifications were such a hoot. It's sad to see the cite so barren.

Gosh, I was 13 when I joined on here. I'm 22 pushing 23 now, but it's nice to see the site has remained intact. I'm actually looking forward to the Switch version coming out, it'd be awesome to see this site at it's peak activity again.

After many years, I have decided to return to ACC, and I even donated $10.
I'm new to PC gaming and still love to play on my 3DS.
Since 2007 I’ve been on here. This is my go to site each time I get back into the game due to the memories. I’ve looked up old players on Facebook and kept in contact with 2 of em from the wild world days. Crazy how times have changed.

Yup, that's exactly why I logged on just now. For some reason I always remember my join date (5th December) - I've had this account for 12 years today!
I'm also logging in for the first time in a long while. I was eleven or twelve when I first made my account - now hitting twenty. So many good memories, I'm glad this site and community are still here

I was 11 when I made this account (hence Brian11), I’m 24 now. Whew. Time flies, man. I used to spend so many happy hours on here with my ACC friends. I wonder where they all ended up!
