Honestly. I'm on level 46, and have almost 400K in Bells. You can't buy Wood, Cotton, Paper, Steel, anything. I don't craft anything that I don't need to invite animals to my campsite, and I don't build things that aren't needed by the animals in order to invite them to my campsite. I only have 2 more items to craft in order to invite the last 4 animals to my campsite. I've not yet found a single thing worth spending bells on. What do y'all do with Bells?
At lower levels? Not really. At higher levels and with more items to craft coming out? Yes.
For example up until level 40 or so, I had so many bells (hundreds of thousands) I didn’t know what to do with them. So even though I only use my camper to display my favorite items, I figured I would upgrade it and add more space because I wanted to use my bells for something.
So a few hundreds of thousands later I started maxing out wood and steel resources. For a while I would just sell 200 a couple times a week for 2K. But that’s a rip off. So instead, now I craft items that only require wood or steel or both and any other resource I have to blow like 1.5K in friendship powders. So I am making items I like or to complete sets I might use. Like more plants/decor and 4 chairs for each set etc. it’s pretty fun and I like having dupes and something else to do with my bells. I don’t know when I’ll go back to upgrade my camper again now.
AC:PC: It's not a game. It's a lifestyle. Oh, it's just me? ;0)
Active (daily+) requests only please!
I forgot to say I have almost all amenities upgraded. I've spent a lot of money on those.
I also do all the special requests which are usually 10k bells or around there.
My friend put an emperor butterfly in her market box for 30k before realizing that no one will ever buy it, so I bought it because I had the bells to spend. I want to just buy everyone's really expensive items just to get rid of them since it's just taking up space that they could use for items that people will actually buy
