There is a ton of kitchen items and food items in the game now. Some of the new amibo things are great. I have something similar to what you are looking for in my new town in my house.

Also some of the gracie sweets furniture might help as well.

the kitchen sets are very helpful for this kinda thing, ive been working on a small restaurant for a few months now, its a very fun project.
