what kind of things do you choose to spend your leaf tickets on? I'm saving mine up for events only. right now I spend them every once in a while to get into the quarry if the current item is candy canes and I've either used my daily 5 friend enter, or it's about to change over and I can't get the 5 friends. I really want to get the full christmas set early into December so I can have a christmas campsite for longer.
also would you consider spending money on leaf tickets? I feel like nintendo did a great job at keep this game fairly un-manipulative, especially as far as free to play games go, so I don't think I'd mind dropping a few dollars on the game once in a while.

Inventory space, the Nook/KK items, and crafting space. The RoI isn't really good on anything else imo.
I would be open to buying a few but I haven't felt the desire to yet.

I haven't spent very many. Only on KK slider and upgrading my inventory and market box spaces a couple times each. I still have over 600 tickets without spending any real life money. I like how this game makes leaf tickets accessible enough that you don't HAVE to spend real money to enjoy it to the fullest.
Better a live coward than a dead hero.
I purchased an extra crafting space and a couple of inventory upgrades. I did spend a few on crafting an item when I was short on materials to get the stretch goal, so I got Leaf tickets back.
I spent some to get into the quarry a few times for the candy canes, but when I realized that I didn't need to get to the quarry twice in a day for them, I stopped.
I also bought the K.K. and Nook chairs.
I have spent 6 dollars total so far, buying both the 0.99 and 3.99 launch packs, as well as the 0.99 flower garden pack.
I have no problems spending a little cash to support a free to play game. After all, I didn't spend any money to get the game, and the developers do need support to continue to maintain it and provide new content.
I agree that so far, the game has been designed so that you don't really need to spend any RL money to enjoy the game fully, unlike Sims FreePlay.
I've not spent any real money, so I only have the leaf tickets that I've gotten in-game. I first spent it adding the extra craft spaces (very glad I did this) and inventory (glad I did that, too). I was going to save them up, but I actually ended up getting over 500 despite that, so I bought the K.K. and Tom Nook items. Past that, I've been saving them up for future special items and the like.
I've spent mine on extra crafting spaces, quarry, inventory upgrades, etc. I've also spent them on extra requests for villagers. Particularly, if a villager is within the 9 points you can get for doing extra requests, I'll do it. I've purchased all the various launch packs with no regrets.
I've been the best at letting people down
I've never been the kind of person you can trust
I really only spend my leaf tickets if I need something from the Quarry, I think I have over 350 that I've just saved up. I haven't bought any leaf tickets because they give so many away for free ahaha
