Just wondering how others decide who to 'send home' from their campsite and who to host? For increasing friendship levels are they better to be at your campsite or elsewhere? It seems that you're more likely to level up friendship with them if they're elsewhere but then they obviously move around.
There's a thread on this board about which animals give which crafting materials, so for me personally, I'm trying to make sure I have at least one of each of those animals so I'm not having too much of one material.
So after I got all 4 different tents, I decided which two I wanted permanently in my campsite. But I do plan on getting all of them to their highest level so I can raise the level caps for everyone. So I keep animals at my campsite that match the two tents I want (cute and natural) and then I make sure to always talk to them every hour because I believe that's when it resets the chat and you can have a conversation with them again
For me, I like to focus on rustic and natural seeing as those are the themes of my current amenities, however once an animal reaches maximum level I'll swap them out with any other animal so that eventually all the animals have been in my campsite and have reached maximum level

I was also wondering what would level up each character faster, whether they were at your campsite or the different islands. I think it evens out though because it seems they level up slower each time and every time you give them what they request but you get to do that three times plus the chat. When they are at your camp it seems as though it may only be one time you talk to them and they level up faster in that one conversation.
What I have is what I am is what I give to you.
