As decided in the last thread, the current mascot is Pikachu chosen by KirbyHamtaro. The picture was retrieved from the Sonic Pokémon Wiki.

Just like in the last thread, whoever gets the 1000th post gets to pick the mascot for the next thread. It can be any Pokémon. If they don't choose a mascot [after some time], then the person who got the 1001th post will be asked. So on and so forth. If you double post to get the 1000th post then it does not count and instead goes to the person who got the 1001st post.

Only 11 more days until Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon release!

Yeah although I got to wait until Christmas like usual. Same for Sun and Omega Ruby. I have money to buy although I’m saving my money for a switch.

Sis is getting me Ultra Sun.

I have gotten her some of the other games in the series, White 2, X and Omega Ruby, whereas she's only gotten me Sapphire.

Getting Ultra Moon <3

I’m going with Ultra Moon. The game looks so good!

I'll be getting Ultra Moon to compliment my copy of Sun.

Downloaded the digital moon and bought the cartridge US and UM.
Each time I turn on the 3DS it reminds me how close it's getting.
Plan on using my US as my main copy and UM as my 2nd one.  The digital copy will be for resetting if they give us anything like the pikachu one in sun and moon.

I'm not even sure if we're gonna get an update for the pokemon game to transfer more pokemon to (ultra) sun / moon sooner or later.

Move tutor data, and a variety of other stuff, has been leaked!

I wonder if getting Defog will be enough to tip Landorus over the edge into the Ubers tier.

Well a New Z-Move has been revealed for ultra sun / moon. It's a pokemon exclusive Z-Move if you guys asked me, but if you wanna read up more info, you can go to serebii for details.

Does anybody have an idea of what team they will be using in Ultra Sun/Moon?

Nope. My hope is that I can just take some of my favorites from Pokebank.

Well for me, it may depend on my situation in the game so I change my team when necessary and as usual, I keep exp. share off for full enjoyment of the game and not finish the game in 1 day.

Anyway pokemon ultra sun / moon is now out. Hope you guys are enjoying the game, but i'm pretty sure some of you guys are doing some preparations. for those of you that are trying to transfer pokemon from sun / moon > ultra sun / moon through pokemon bank, I read reports that the pokemon bank update will be released later so for the time being if you're gonna transfer pokemon with hold items, you can either do it by yourself if you have 2 3DS of any model or find someone who you trust to help you.

As I don't have 2 3DS, I cannot.

Pokémon Bank and poke transporter have been updated just to let you guys know. These updates will allow you to transfer pokemon from your sun / moon > ultra sun / moon and poke transporter will allow you to migrate pokemon from your Gold / Silver > (ultra) sun / moon as well. If any additional info needed, refer to the news for more info and as usual there will be downtime on updating if there's any server traffic going on.

What is the real point of playing with random Pokemon on the field, such as spinning around, staring at it, playing peek-a-boo, and changing positions? Is there really a point to all that? If not it does waste time...

I spent over 30 minutes playing with Rockruff, trying to figure it out. Unfortuantely, I don't think there is a point

Well I tried that once, but it doesn't do anything that would affect the storyline so I'm pretty sure it's only for fun and excitement when playing with some pokemon around the areas.

For those of you guys that are doing a trade and/or battle, the same rules apply the same as ORAS when you trade and/or battle ppl with X/Y which is new pokemon, new items, new moves, and new forms so you may want to refer to serebii for the chart details.

It was the same rockruff that had people jumping the gun assuming pokemon following you as a mechanic was back, too. Fortunately I knew better than to think that.

Personally, I actually thought that the Pokemon you play with on the field could actually become yours... Well I don't know why they added that feature but it's not really enjoyable.

It's very distracting that Rotom talks way too much. It's tiring having to interact with it every time it has sad eyes. And not to mention it asks me to save the game RIGHT after I have. What's with that...?

Yeah you'll get that "earthbound"-like feeling from rotom saying that you've been on the road for a long time and asking that you want to save. What's more annoying is asking for heals, but normally it's not a problem if you're near pokemon center or someone heals your pokemon.

The sad eyes that rotom dex is having needs the impression and it's the only way to get roto powers. I haven't been using roto powers lately except in desperate situation like roto boost and force to use them once such as exp and prize money.

So is Ultra Sun/Moon worth picking up if you've played Sun/Moon?
