I'm probably going to sound really dumb for not using the plot reset trick after very recently having a different neighbor move into a terrible spot, even after placing patterns everywhere, but I guess I just do not learn from my mistakes.

Velma was moving out yesterday. I have been trying to get rid of her for awhile, partially because I am just not a fan of her in general, but mainly because her house was in a horrible spot; right in front of the bulletin board near the train station. Just a really ugly and inconvenient place. This is also around the area where I wanted to place a park clock, and she was in the way.

I had a new villager scheduled to move in today, so I put patterns all over the place last night and I triple checked the town for any bare spots where I didn't want my new villager to move.

So...when I loaded up animal crossing this morning...I was so confident that I had covered every last spot that was off limits that I didn't even want to waste time doing the plot reset trick (I realize now that I am stupid)...but to my surprise...Stitches placed his house just one space away from Velma's old location...literally just one space to the left. I didn't even think that was possible, since her house was there last night.

So, now I'm back at square one with a villager in that god forsaken spot. This time, it's worse, because I love Stitches and don't think I'll have the heart to kick him out like I so easily did with Velma.

I feel your pain!

I thought I had it good having a house across the river in a secluded place next to the waterfall, overlooking the piece of beach that one can only get to with wetsuit... no.

Pinky moved in and literally took a crane and dropped her stinking house right next door to mine. Her house is encroaching on my side yard and vadfghadfvxnjvksbdnfuvbsdvsn Just No. NO! Like why can't you move into Kiki's old slot when she moved out? Is it really that hard? Your house will still be surrounded by flowers just like hers was!

And then Deirdre just moved in and annihilated my mango tree (and an orange tree, but I'm still more mad about the mango tree). I'm glad I shook that tree and planted more. Sheesh.

.. and here I am with the opposite problem.

I actually want my villagers to move in random places, I like the idea of switching things up from time to time. I don't really care for paths, so that isn't an issue for me. Every time someone moves in, it's in the exact spot as the previous villager.

Totally agree!! I've got two in my town in very bad locations.

damn that is annoying. three of my villagers have moved into bad spots. my villager chelsea, she moved right in front of the train station and over my pink carnations and it REALLY bothers me, my villager peanut, she moved over my pink roses, which sucks because they are one of my favourite hybrids in my town. Thirdly my villager whitney, she moved over my peach tress that formed a pathway and it just looks really weird.

Can't be as stupid as I when I accidentally TT to a month in advanced, and a villager moved in, crushing some of my four-leaf clovers!
