I'm probably going to sound really dumb for not using the plot reset trick after very recently having a different neighbor move into a terrible spot, even after placing patterns everywhere, but I guess I just do not learn from my mistakes. Velma was moving out yesterday. I have been trying to get rid of her for awhile, partially because I am just not a fan of her in general, but mainly because her house was in a horrible spot; right in front of the bulletin board near the train station. Just a really ugly and inconvenient place. This is also around the area where I wanted to place a park clock, and she was in the way. I had a new villager scheduled to move in today, so I put patterns all over the place last night and I triple checked the town for any bare spots where I didn't want my new villager to move. So...when I loaded up animal crossing this morning...I was so confident that I had covered every last spot that was off limits that I didn't even want to waste time doing the plot reset trick (I realize now that I am stupid)...but to my surprise...Stitches placed his house just one space away from Velma's old location...literally just one space to the left. I didn't even think that was possible, since her house was there last night. So, now I'm back at square one with a villager in that god forsaken spot. This time, it's worse, because I love Stitches and don't think I'll have the heart to kick him out like I so easily did with Velma.
