alrighty so I haven't really played much acnl since new years 2015 but today I decided to finally update my dream addresses. for maplerow, I wanted heavy snowfall at 2am with christmas lights on the trees, so I TTd back to december 19th 2013 (a day I knew had heavy snowfall at 2am), updated my town and then realized no lights on the trees! It's not that I don't have enough cedar trees because the whole top half of my town above the river is packed with as many cedars as I can fit.

I know before, the lights always appeared between the 15th and the 3rd, but I've been jumping around different dates and nothing. maybe it has something to do with TTing backwards? but that wasn't an issue last time I played. I haven't been following AC news very closely since before the update, so idk if this is a known problem or the update changed something. any help would be A++

so TTing forward to a date later than any previous times I'd played gave me my lights back, but now I can't for the life of me find a day with heavy snow at 2am. I guess something did change in the update because December 19th 2013 at 2am was my go-to day for dream updates for a good while.

guess I'll be doing lots of TTing to find my specific weather needs in the morning

I have never heard of this problem, although I have never TT'd for snowfall or Christmas lights.

I am curious now. It would be interesting to know how it turns out?
