Last night Big Top asked to visit at 6pm.  He dropped by on time and asked if anyone was home.  At the time I was upstairs and went downstairs right away.  My character was standing in place but Big Top didn't come inside.   Waited and  the game let me move but still no Big Top.   Went outside and he wasn't around so I went back inside.  Right after I was in Big Top walked inside.  It was like when you visit a villager house.  

  I've been upstairs or in another room and never had any problems.   Not sure what happened with the game but it was odd.  Just happy that he wasn't outside because he could have got mad for missing the visit.

It's very strange. That hasn't happened to me, but I discovered that when Elise comes over uninvited, and she does this quite often when I play my mayor Kassie, if I'm in another room and don't go to answer the door fast enough, she believes I'm not home and just leaves.

I'm glad that when I have an appointment for a visit, that I just wait in the main room until the visitor comes in. I don't like to disappoint my villagers if I can help it, even if it's inconvenient for me.
