What is your favorite villager personality, and if you could invent a new villager personality what would it be?

My favorite current villager personality has to be lazy by far. Lazy villagers warm my heart...they are just so adorable and sweet. I can relate closely to their love for food and relaxation!

If I could invent a new personality...well, I have two that I really like. The first would be jokester. Jokester villagers would be very outgoing, goofy, and love to tell jokes and poke fun! They would make frequent puns and be able to find the funny side of anything! Jokester villagers would come off as somewhat loud and obnoxious sometimes, but would be easy to befriend. This personality would apply to male villagers.

The second personality I would love to see would be shy. Shy villagers would be very difficult to befriend (similar to the process of befriending Sable) and often stutter when talking and speak mainly in brief sentences, but with enough persistence, they would open up to the player and be very kind, loyal, and wise. Once befriended, they would tell the player secrets, give them wise words of advice, and be an overall great friend, sending letters and gifts frequently. This personality would apply to female villagers.

My favorites are the cranky villagers. They became my favorite in ACGC, nobody else would be awake but them and it seemed like they gave me stuff all the time

My favorites are the Smugs! They’re funny, geeky, and a sweetheart all in one. They’re agreeable and can get along with just about any personality! I have two smugs I’m keeping in my town right now, and plan on getting a third one I just love them so much. Plus I love their designs (Pietro, Julian, Marshal, Kyle, Leopold, etc). Lazies are a close second; they’re so innocent, friendly and sweet, but talk about food way too much! With that being said though, Erik will always be the most adorable villager to me. <3

Aww, I love those two personality ideas, especially the shy one! Getting to know Sable has always been a treat, so it would be nice to interact with villagers in that way!

I like the idea of an Artsy personality. They would be creative, imaginative, often visiting the museum, always throwing around extraordinary ideas to the player and highly knowledgable in the history and elements of art. They will often seem restless, stressing over finishing a certain project and may come off as ditzy and perfectionistic. This would apply to females.

Also, an Awkward personality. They want to make friends and try, but often say things that come off as weird or inappropriate, followed by something like “... wait, I can explain what I mean by that.” They are not very good at expressing their emotions and seem to be interested in many unconventional things. They are more of a thinker than a feeler, and are better with numbers and logic than interacting with others. Their in game voice would sound a bit more monotonous than the others. This would apply to males.

WhimsyWoods - I love your ideas! They are ones that I would have never come up with myself, but I think they sound really interesting and would fit nicely with the game.
