Sorry if this has been posted before (probably has) or if it's being posted in the wrong board (probably is), but I wanted to gauge the community's responsiveness to AC:NL. I'm writing a paper for my class regarding Animal Crossing: New Leaf, so I thought I'd do some research on what prompted people to pick up the game in the first place.

Well I have always been a fan of the animal crossing series, so I guess i was really curious to see what sort of new items they were going to add. I was really excited when I got it for Christmas.

This is my first ac game. I just happened to see YouTube video of it, and was intrigued by the real time "living in a town" aspect of it. What got me more interested was the home design. What's kept me going this long? The community here.
