Something wow and something woah
Moana; loved it, however there are strains of the film's previous direction that are still present in its current incarnation. This doesn't bring the production down, but it is noticeable.

ACC Time + 14hrs
Pretty solid movie, if only for the music and the fact that the voice performers did their own stunts, or more accurately, sang their own tunes. Special shout out goes to Seth MacFarlane for doing a pretty fantastic Sinatra-esque voice and Taron Egerton for having some amazing pipes on him.
Climax made the movie worth it, but otherwise it was a well-animated and well-acted, if rather haphazardly paced film.

I enjoyed it - my dad and stepmom absolutely hated it. I don't understand how it won all of the awards it did. I enjoyed the visuals and the directing, but the actual singing and dancing were pretty lukewarm. As my dad put it, "they're no Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers" and I kind of agree.
My main critique was that I can only remember there being 4-5 musical numbers and then they just kept going back to that same tune on the piano every five minutes. I expected more, I guess - a whole soundtrack I could sing along to.
I'd say 7/10.
