Hi Alex Good question... I am too very interested and have so many questions lol *It would be interesting if our ACNL Town could be transferred to the Switch but if we are going to get a fresh look AC with New Designs and New Polished Art styles would be super kwl too right! Also i have heard there maybe a AC App version that may work with the Switch AC (this is just a rumor though) I am looking forward to so many more Threads on the New Animal Crossing Switch this year So exciting!!!!!!!!!
On the train i saw another town and it looked lovely :D

I posted this to GameFAQs Switch board (they don't have a dedicated Animal Crossing Switch board yet):
In the current Animal Crossing - New Leaf, you become a mayor of the current town.
I propose if Nintendo makes an Animal Crossing (AC) for the Switch, then Tortimer returns to his office as mayor and you become the town ambassador.
This gives you the right to travel to other towns and meet new villagers, try to convince them to come to your town, buy new furniture, etc.
However, I also want the HRA to be seeking an ambassador, as well - become their ambassador by dazzling them with your home's style.
Being the HRA ambassador allows you to enter anyone's house, even if they are not home - just to look at their furniture how it is placed in the room. You must go to the HRA's home site in the "city" to register your ratings, though.
The ambassador idea was liked.

I would really love to see AC in a different style. I love the 2D pixel fanart some people have made and I think it would be awesome to have a game like that. It would have a nice retro feel to it. I would like more online play. Perhaps they could make a city like the island? Like you would have you're own town but then you could also travel to a big town that had lots of shops and maybe even an arcade and theatre. You could visit the big city either offline and it would be filled with animals or online and it would be filled with other players.
Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but memories...
How about you become the town's ambassador, as opposed to mayor (what you become in New Leaf.)
As ambassador, your house is the one everyone sees in the HRA's showcase, you open the gates to invite other ambassadors to view your town (or possibly to clandestinely trade items); you are also in charge of keeping the town looking good - no trash left around, no weeds, flowers planted and watered, trees all looking good, etc.

Larger islands (as in the similar size to what you see on tours like the octopus diving tour). Would also love a place to sit down on the public island to talk with people. Possibly also have the ability to put one "holiday" house on the private island which works in the same way as the player house but not possible to expand it as much, having different outside designs to make it seem more like an island place than in a town.
I also wish that we could put things into the island box to take there from town. Right now it's only possible to take flowers and clothing and such stuff there by wearing it and dropping it off there. That's really slow and annoying. If there was something like a locker system to and from the island then I think that would be very useful and would make bringing things from town such as hybrids to decorate the island with, much easier to get there.
I would hope for there to be more possible players in a town, up to 8. Maybe players would arrive and leave from the town in a taxi which would stop somewhere in the town, maybe at the back of the town where the train is today, you would have to cross a road to go to the Main Street. The train could easily stay though because they have enough seats to take everyone back, so it would make sense.
Player disconnections should be different too. When you get one player who has a disconnection for one second, everyone gets a Resetti screen. This is really bad especially if you just did all work on your town while someone was there. I think that the player should just disconnect on their own instead of it putting everyone offline, and that player would go home, or they would just be stood as a "ghost" in the exact same place as they disconnected for the rest of the WiFi session. The exception would be if the town owner did that, but if any guests had an error then I think that it would be easier if they just disconnected and not everyone else too.
First off, a return to the Gamecube map size of 5x6. But not just one map of 5x6, but three. Village West, Village East, and Village Centre. East and West would be the usual village type. Centre would be different in that most of it would be taken up by a large lake with walkways. To the south would be the city. To the north would be the station. KK would still have his club from New Leaf, but would sometime play outside the station of a summer or inside the cafe of a winter to callback to his old music-playing haunts.
