I've noticed that in the past few weeks I've had my new amiibo villagers  all of my regular ones have asked to move but none of my 4 amiibo villagers have ever mentioned it yet. Does this mean if I don't play for a while I don't have to worry about them moving?

I would assume they move at some point. I've seen pictures of Inkwell moving, and things about how Zelda amiibo villagers cannot be adopted. Maybe they just stay longer unless you kick them out. *Shrugs*

Yeah, I've had wolf link since the update. I've done a lot of time traveling to get items and he's stayed still. I'd still assume they'd move at some point.

If you invite another amiibo villager to stay, and your town is full, the game asks you who you want to remove from your town.  Does the name of your current Amiibo villager (Maci's Wolf Link, for example) show up in the options of villagers to eject?  Or not?

I hope it does give you the option to replace them, otherwise I'm stuck with Merengue and Pekoe forever.  They're lovely and all, mind you, but I might want to replace them at some point, right?

Yes, but when Wisp asks you who you want to move out, does Wolf Link (who is already a villager in your town because you invited him before) show up as one of the villagers you can replace?

In other words, can you remove an amiibo villager from your town?

Yes, you can remove amiibo villagers. I got Marshal to move in today, and Wisp gave me the option to let Francine and Wade (both amiibo move-ins) move out.
