Does anyone know?  I have been to the island, am Club Mortimer, and have flower shop. They started building new building to the right of Mabel's today - not sure what it is- ???

Many balloon gifts floating overhead everyday and upset I don't have a slingshot offered yet.

The slingshot can be bought from Timmy and Tommy.

I know that, but I've been playing for weeks now and no slingshot for sale.  Does anyone have one to trade by chance or know when I might be expecting it to be on sale at Tommy & Timmy's?

If you already have the net, keep an eye out for balloons that are heading for the beach.  A balloon will begin to position itself lower just as it starts to go over the cliff.  You can then hit it with the net.  As long as beach area is clear, the present will drop down to the beach and you can retrieve it there.

I have also noticed that the slingshot appears to be rare at Nook's Cranny; I get the feeling that as the store expands and more tools are offered each day, the chances of finding a slingshot increase. It's a pain to have to wait, I know, but unfortunately, patience is a necessity, as well as a virtue.

The building to the right of the Able Sisters (assuming one is looking from the player's position) would be Kicks' Shoe Store, I believe. Then again, you probably know that by now, considering you that was yesterday.

I also didn't know that that was something you could do with balloons; I'll have to try it later!

You can also do the same thing with a shovel or axe.
