Every time I try to delete an old town in my profile, it comes up with "You cannot delete this town due to characters", but there's no way to remove yourself as a 'character'??

Any help?

Try going to "my characters" on the bar on the left, and click "edit info" under the character you want to delete.  Scroll down, and there should be a button on the left for "delete character".

Once you do that, you should be able to delete your town.  If you have multiple characters in the town you want to delete, you will need to delete all of the characters assigned to that town.
