I've noticed that the Grownup Gamer Animal Crossing forum is being completely overrun by wi-fi requests, which should be going into the GG Wi-fi board. I used to thoroughly enjoy the discussions in the Animal Crossing forum, but have to sort through TONS of wi-fi request threads to find these threads.

Is there anyway to redirect these posts/prevent them from being put into the wrong forum or is it a losing battle?

You can always report a thread in the wrong place for Rule 2.1 - Posting on the Wrong Board to get a moderator to take a look and move it to the correct location!

I totally second what Brittney's saying. I used to frequent the GG board as well and I still check it out when there's a new thread; however, it's a WiFi/friends request most of the time. I have considered writing what Brittney's written, or report all these misplaced threads, but I never did. Thank you Brittney for bringing this up.

Similar requests have been made recently to cleanup the shops & services boards. Maybe a Mod can cleanup the GG board occasionally?

I'm not sure that there is a way to re-direct them automatically (one of the Devs would have to answer that) but it can be done by hand by a Mod. I will try and get over there this weekend if at all possible.

If you would turn in a ticket for them, it would bring it to the attention of the Mods in general but not having been there I'm not sure how many we are talking about or how long it would take to send them in.

Wow, just spent 2 hours cleaning up the GrownUp Gamers board and didn't get it all done. I did take it back to November of last year. I transferred some to the Wifi Board and just locked the really old ones. Hopefully this will help for awhile.

I don't remember where the requests were posted TBH but I also straightened up Shops and Services and the Recruitment boards. Giveaway looked good already.

I also occasionally see threads on the regular ACNL wifi board that are people looking for people 18+ only. I'm not sure if this counts, but it's worth mentioning.

Actually there is no age limit on the regular ACNL Wifi board. Anyone can post there, young or old.
