First Question, Do only the original trees your town started with have things fall out of them when you shake them, or do the trees from Leif's drop stuff too after they are fully grown?

Second Question, I planted an apple orchard and three trees wilted, i replanted and they all wilted again, two are next to each other and the other one has trees grown around it. there is plenty of space for them to grow and i cant figure out why they wont.... any ideas?

For the first, I'm about 99% sure that any non-fruit tree can drop things when you shake them, including ones from Lief.

For the second, I'm not sure.  I'm fairly certain that in addition to the requirement that the square directly around the tree being clear, there is a maximum amount of trees in a given area.  I could be wrong on that though.

Sounds like you are planting too close to other trees. They like a lot of space. Good luck!

It's also possible that right below where you planted your 2 grown trees is a dead spot! Which means neither trees or flowers will grow there!

It's a line of trees, and only some died, it wasn't more than 12 trees in the line. And I would love for you to come look at it Rosy. Thanks for your help everyone (:

Hi! On trees dropping things, fruit trees will drop fruit, and saplings and pine saplings can drop furniture, bells, and beehives (you'll also get bees after you when the beehive drops). I think there can be up to 5 beehives and 3 furniture? I'm not sure right now.)

On your tree spacing issue, are you planting them like this?:

OOOOO
TOTOT

planting like that, if you plant them all at once (or you replant the middle one) the middle one will always die. there has to be at least one T space left open. (sorry if I don't make sense right now, I havdn't slept for like 30 hours. This link explains it better.
