i turn off adblock for this site but one ad i experienced yesterday is honestly going to make me either turn it back on, or quit the site already.

basically, it reloaded a lot (which KILLED my firefox process--it shot it so high my 8gb of RAM was just flooring it) and then there was auto-sound... and when the ad was over, it reloaded AGAIN and did ANOTHER auto-sound ad.

and there was NO MUTE BUTTON on the ad. >.>;; which was honestly the killer there.

is this typical or is there a way to report these kind of ads??

Yes, you can report ads like that on this thread; in theory, it's only supposed to be used for reporting "adult" ads, but everyone also uses it for invasive ads like the one you describe.
