I did the same recently and been playing New Leaf again for about a month now. I find you'll be interested in it longer if you don't play it any more than an hour each day.

I'm excited as I just got my Nookingtons upgrade! Took long enough !

Welcome back! Just like you, I'm also getting back into Animal Crossing and the site as well. Started cleaning around my place and I found my 3DS with AC:NL in it. Played for hours!
