Are there any university students on these forums? I'm personally a first-year undergrad studying English Literature

After many years, I have decided to return to ACC, and I even donated $10.
I'm new to PC gaming and still love to play on my 3DS.
Stressful, to be honest. My accommodation is the furthest away from the uni and I have to get the Metro line into the city centre, so every time I have a deadline I'm always worried I'll be late and have my marks capped at 40%. So far, I've handed all but two essays in late but managed to convince the lecturers that I deserved full consideration
Workload wise it doesn't seem too bad, but I'm lazy, so I always leave things until the last minute. I'm so bad for it.

I just finished a graduate program. I'm really happy it's done! I had to give up ACNL for a year to finish my thesis.
Sorry to hear that you live far away from campus. I commuted the first couple years as an undergrad student, and I didn't really feel like I belonged. I also leave things to the last minute. But sometimes I felt like that helped give me inspiration at the last minute.
"^ Sounds quite interesting? Did you enjoy the weekend?"
I did! I was feeling a bit lonely and unenthusiastic at first, after being dragged away from my family and free time to rainy Wales for a field trip, but then I made some friends and we had a good time identifying coastal species.
Who here remembers the old UK schools & uni students threads from a few years ago? I definitely remember a few of you from there I'm a first year chemical engineer
Sophomore sociology student here. Unfortunately, my grades have slipped this semester. I'm thinking of changing my major to writing, since it's pretty much the only academic subject I seem to be good at
Finishing up my sophomore year and preparing to transfer colleges!
I was a med student when I started. I thought for sure that I wanted to be a surgeon one day, and that I wanted to go to school out of state.
It took me 3 semesters to change my mind about both those things. I'm now preparing to move back home to finish up college at the university there (it's superior in a lot of ways to the place I'm going now, and honestly I just wanna be home, man), I've got my first apartment all lined up, and I'm a pre-law student!

I think what's most interesting to me is that despite the number of replies in this thread, I don't think we've had any duplicate responses yet! I double majored in French & Linguistics in 2011 and I'm going back for a Masters in Architecture starting in July of this year. I'm super excited to be going back to school, but also just a little bit terrified.

Nearing the end of first year now and just starting to prepare for my final essays and work. It's really scary how fast it's gone.

^You guys that aren't in your final year, ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN! D:
I've always worked hard at university, even in first year, and didn't really believe that the last year would be much worse. HOW WRONG I WAS!
Anyone who says modern language degrees are easy can happily swap with me, and do my ELEVEN exams (including a 48-hour French exam...) and 4,000 word essay (all in one month!) instead of whatever their course is.
Nice to see a few familiar faces on this thread. I'll probably be more recognised by my other username, TattyBoJangles (already been mentioned up thread somewhere).
I'm now halfway through my medical degree. Three years down, three years to go. Oh how I miss the simplicity of secondary school. I loved those old threads we used to have.. I wasted far too much time on here in my youth!
My summer has already started, and I won't be back at uni until September. You can tell I'm bored because this is my first ACC login in yonks.

My nan's hands were so soft, she once caught a bubble and her hands burst.
Strange how tonight I decided to come on ACC after so many years (joined the site in 2005!!!) and this was the first thread that interested me.
About to be a third year elementary education student. While I love it (and love my students) lately I've been debating switching to either a speech language pathologist or something to do with therapy in a school setting. Summer started for me about 3 weeks ago, and I've been working like crazy since. Kids don't understand how hard adulthood is, lol.
