I have been on here for a week, and not quite sure I understand everything. I know there's a time limit to get an adopter to help you around here. How do I go about doing that?

For 2 weeks after you join, you will count as a 'new member' and have a little smiley face next to your name. In this time you can get 'adopted' which basically means a scout will message you and help you with anything you need help with.
