I named my first town Cedar, as the ranch I ride horses at has Cedar in the name I named my second town Rosewood, because roses are my favorite flower, and it just sounded really pretty.

DaisyDew ~ Because I wanted a town full of Cosmos, since that's the closest thing to Daisies in this game. & the "Dew" part is there because 3 more letters was my limit. I thought about it, & that's what I came up with. I like it, I think it's cute.

I want to get a skateboard where the design is one of those mom decorations
Like "live laugh love" or "it's fall y'all" or something.
I named my town Merrow, which means 'mermaid' in Irish. My family is Irish and I've always been a massive fan of mermaids! Also Merrow sounds like a really pretty town name
My first town I named Corneria (because I was really into Starfox two years ago) and then when I got my second copy I wanted to make a Splatoon-themed town, so I named my Mayor Inka (from 'ink' and Japanese 'ika', meaning 'the squid'), and named my town Splat, because... Splat Town

My very first ACGC town, I put it on here as Hyrule on here but truthfully, I'd named it after my hometown (where I was, of course, living at the time). xD I think that might've been the first time I'd been asked to name anything in a game, so like... Rover asked where I was going and I guess I decided I was going to my hometown? LOL
I can't remember if I actually named my WW town Hyrule or not. I might've still named it after my hometown, or I might've named it Hyrule due to the trend even though I hadn't played LoZ at all yet.
My ACCF town, Caduceus, is named after the hospital in the Trauma Center series, which I'm a big fan of. (Though these days I'm more a fan of Trauma Team.)
My Doubutsu no Mori town is named Niji, which means Rainbow. I just really like rainbows.
My ACNL town is Tsukimi, not knowing at the time that that's a holiday/real thing lol... I can't remember why I named it that. I know I'd wanted to name it something else, though I can't remember what anymore, so I somehow ended up coming up with Tsukimi. I was like, "'Looking at the moon' -- that sounds pretty!"... I'd decided not to name it after anything in particular, and same for my character, so I just chose something that I liked the sound of.
I recently started a new ACGC town, and I really wanted to name it Arendelle (so that my character could be Elsa of Arendelle!!), but that's one character too many so I named it Joyful (because of Joy from Inside Out). Frozen is my top favorite movie, followed by Inside Out.
My NL town is called Aniville i chose this name because i liked the name and I saw the Animal crossing movie in 2014 I know What you're thinking That's late since the movie came out in 2005

My town is called "Anywhere" which has become tradition from the very first time I played Animal Crossing. It came from when you start the game and Kappn' asks you in the cab: "Where are you heading?". I didn't know this determined the name of my town so I wrote: "Anywhere" and that's what it became.
After that I changed it, then started over and renamed it "Anywhere" again because I grew attached to the name.

kikicat That's a sick name. I love The Walking Dead
My town's name is Reach. It's the name of Eyes Set to Kill's first album. I dig heavy metal so I am fond of this name. I also love how it has a creepy feel to it.
Rover, "Where are you headed?"
Me, "Reach." (See? It sounds so cool!)

We were tossing ideas back and forth, and for some reason I said BRAT Town. Well, too many letters, so daughter put in BRATOWN. I said NO NO!! She said Yes, yes, it is funny.
So we have the weirdest town name and she also made a Bra design and made the flag look like a flying Bra.
I named my newest town Edgerook, no idea why, took it from a town name generator, sounded awesome at the time, although i did consider taking a name from a certain fictional pirate movie series

There was a rich man from Nottingham, who tried to cross a river,
What a dope, he tripped on a rope, Now look at him shiver.
I named my town Turnip because I was playing Rune Factory 4 recently and I would plant a bunch of Turnips, then I picked up ACNL and named my town Turnip, I think its a cute name for a town xD
Misery, because I wanted my town to be ironic as heck.
My past towns have been (from memory): Gliese (after the potentially habitable planets), Tangelo (it just sounded cool?), Jabiru (I thought it was a cool name/ bird?).
