Who here plays Rocket league?

I have heard of it! What's it about?

It's pretty much Cars and soccer (football)! It's a very addicting game that is only on PS4 and steam.

Why did i think it was an app? I cannot play because I do not have a ps4 or a computer strong enough to run most games if it is high power.

I'll probably get it when it comes to Xbox and goes on sale

It's not exactly high demanding game.

Unfortunately, the xbox version will not have cross platform with PS4, and PC!

Wasteland is horrific. I don't know how it is on PC, but on PS4 the optimization is flat-out garbage. I'm seeing framedrops of >30 for a few seconds at a time.

Really now? I always thought the game ran a stable 60FPS.

The PC version runs flawlessly. Surprisingly, it runs well on intel graphics, but at a low resolution at mobile graphics (IT LOOKS UGLY, but its very playable). I'm running the game with an Nvidia 970, so I never experience framedrops.

Sad.

The game did run really well when it first came out. I think the DLC stuff has just been too much for the poor console-space.

But... But, the game's size is like around 2GBs! xD I doubt that's a problem.

Nono, like, the effects and lighting/particles are more intensive in the DLC.

I've never actually had problems with the PS4 version, it never seems to drop below ~50 fps for me.

I exaggerate on how often it goes screwy, but Wasteland is seriously bad. Most other courses are perfectly okay. But if rain is involved, or the desert effects, things go downhill. Maybe it's because I play with three split-screen often.

Otherwise the game does play great.

I've been playing it some more since posting in here, mostly 1v1 since there's more space to learn your movement and shots. And while I'm consistently losing Ranked, I can play a nice enough competition in un-ranked. I think I could actually win in the former if I quit trying to pull off cool stunts and just played smart, lol.

I absolutely love this game and try to get a few matches in every day if I can. I recently managed to work my way up to gold on 2v2 and solo 3v3. I'd be more than willing to play a few matches with people to help work their rank up if need be. I have two PSN IDs: nookland and nukland. Either would be fine, though I'll probably use my nookland acc if you want to do ranked
