Good Day fellow Animal Crossing City Folk players.I have a fly trap with alot of flies flying around it.I was wondering how do you get rid of all the flies and the fly trap.I like keeping my town of Hyrule clean.

In order to get rid of the fly trap, you need to make sure ALL weeds have been pulled. You should be able to dig it up, or, it should be gone by the next day. If you have to water your flowers, the Fly trap will wilt if not watered. I never tried to see if it would disappear after wilting, so I'm not sure if it will disappear, or if you still need to make sure all weeds are pulled (the grassy looking weeds). Clovers don't count as a weed since they can also be a Lucky clover. I deliberately grew one to have in my town since it takes a lot of weeds and time to get one.

It's a rafflesia, not a flytrap.

Yes, I know, but it acts like a fly trap in that it attracts them like crazy.

Thanks for the info, but I believe the question was for City Folk. And my answer was from actual experience with the Rafflesia in City Folk.
It seems that even the Rafflesia  is harder to get in New Leaf. I find it a fascinating plant. I guess I will have to make a new town to try and get one there.    (Such colorful emotes for New Years!)
