I absolutely adore transport bird pokemon that Surf and Fly. especially ducks, pelicans, and swans. but Stunky stole my heart as I've always loved skunks and finally got one after nearly 10 years of waiting. I love giraffes too, but it's a shame the Girafarig is kinda low on the useful / kick butt list.
I really like Dragonite, Chansey, and Aerodactyl, for gen 1. There's way too many from later gens for me to count. I also really like Dragalge, and Metagross.
Realinho keeping it real with the Cubone! Gotta agree. Cubone was the reason I hated Team Rocket, and I always thought the legendary tragedy of the Cubone and its mother was really interesting, and it made Cubone one of the few non-legendary pokemon out there with character (until the later generations, that is).
Second place goes to the ever-mysterious Shedinja. It steals souls and cannot be harmed by most things in the game. That's spooky, man!

Go on, there are other worlds than these.
Its concept and background story really are out of this world. I mean, there are other pokemon with some weird stories, but Cubone's really stands out. It's a living being who witnessed its mother being killed, apparently stayed with the decaying corpse until it eventually became a skeleton and decided to wear her skull as a helmet in her honour, growing inside of it! Can you believe someone thought this would fit in great with a game so appealing to children?
All of this said, I was in love with it even before I knew the story it also has exclusive usage (along with Marowak) of one of the game's best items (the bone/ club that doubles its attack stat).

Sylveon is hands down my favorite, they're just so cute! As far as Pokemon that don't look adorable I honestly really love Mega Rayquaza, they look so awesome and it is an oddly powerful Pokemon and was 100% the reason I accidentally one shot Deoxys during my first encounter with him in AS
