I truly despise the idea of items in these games that appear in catalogs but can't be purchased. It's especially irksome when going for a particular theme and look and you either don't have it, or don't have enough of it. I especially hate the hoarding mentality it creates. And how it causes some to turn to devices and potentially harmful glitching and cheats to obtain them or more of a rare item, or how it causes inflation in the trade boards. Especially when a particular item is available only in certain regions. But can't be ordered to allow other users to get their hands on it.  I certainly would like to see such a thing eliminated in future games.

But i also realize that having rare items that can be purchased again as often as you want would do away with need for the events that some are obtained by. Which might take away enjoyment for some, render items as less valueable, and remove some of the gaming elements.

I do understand as far as that goes why some items can't be bought again. And those which are orderable is nice and convenient, but are thought of as mundane. Like the spooky series and harvest series, which were once rare items are now seasonal items and no longer exciting to have as once before.  

My question is, especially for those who love to do themes and decorate, would you prefer if all catalog items could be purchased again, or do you prefer the thrill of collecting and willing to deal with the inconvenience to keep the excitement?

I would much prefer to be able to reorder something!! It would definitely save me space in my closet as most of it is taken up with unorderable furniture

I would certainly like to be able to reorder gracie items, especially if i'm refurbishing with her clothes. It can be a pain waiting on items to appear again, especially if they seem to appear less often than other items.

I wished they could be ordered again.  Think Nintendo did this to stop players from selling event items that they got from TTing ahead.  They would have been able to order tons of Snowboy Sets and sell them for a lot of bells early in the game.  

To fix it I wished they would let you sell it and than order the piece later.  Until you sell it again you can't order more.
I bought another copy so I could put all the pieces in 4 players house.  The rest is in save mail.  Anything orderable got throw away.

People already do that crap and making items special doesnt stop users from trading and selling and cheating to get them. And honestly what difference does it make if people do that anyway? You should be able to play how you want. Take away the idiotic unorderable items crap once and for all and stop pushing the whole social and online trading junk on players. There will come a time, like in city folk and other wii games where trading online will no longer be possible. Stop making it neccesary and let people do it for fun!

Defiantly would love to re order rare items! as it would save time and searching through both of my wardrobes for the items i desperately need when decorating.
