Personally, I like the fact that there is no day cycle kind of thing. I dont really like the game at night, so the fact that I can play this game at night and have it still be daytime is a huge plus for me. I just think it's so dark when it's night and I know that sounds dumb, but I just dont like night time in any game for that matter

I agree, I like that it's not based on real-time. NL can stay with the real-time but I like that HHD is different. I play a lot of NL at night just because of my schedule so it's nice to see the light of day in HHD.

I was so happy that the game wasn't played in real time. The only thing is it goes to night right after you design one house. Wish it would stay daylight for longer.
Disney Magical World was played in real time but all the stores were opened late at night. It something that I wished ACNL would add for the night owls. Night owl doesn't work if you want beautiful flowers.

I actually like, too, that the day/night cycle is not following real time. I also found out that the time you spend decorating a house determines if it is dusk or night when you return to Nook's (or at least it seems so, I need to do some more testing). I did a real quick modification to a building, and when I got out I was not at night but dusk. I appreciated that, it's good for screenies .

Kind of wish I could choose if it was night or day while designing a house. Sometimes the ones I've built looked strange in the daylight. For example, Tammy wanted a haunted house to go to with her friends, so I made it spooky but, it could only look so scary when everything was covered in sunlight.
