I just finished doing my catalog for the Amiibo cards. My question is this, where and how do I let people know what extra cards I have are for trade? I have 10 different cards that I have at least 1 duplicate that I can trade.

Unfortunately, unlike e-Reader cards, it is impossible to mark which duplicates you have in the catalog. The best you could do is perhaps use your profile to indicate which ones you have for trade. I'll see if there are any staff discussions on this, and if not, I'll start one ASAP.

Now, a question for the staff from a staff member, but where can I set my address on my profile? Maybe I'm missing it but I can't seem to find it, even after setting up a HHD character and inputting my cards.

Is anyone else having this issue, or am I doing something wrong? I want to collect the cards, but I don't think I will be buying the game for myself, so I tried getting my husband's (future) HHD town linked to my account, in order to add the cards. However, the "link other users to your towns" feature doesn't seem to be working.

Oh, I've worked it out. It wasn't working because there needed to be a character added to the town.

Please do not post your address anywhere at this particular time - public or private. We are already working on the Trading post (or a substitute for it) where actual trade information will be exchanged.

Thanks for your help Jarikira. I used to trade e-Cards back in the day and I remember the process very well. I suppose I figured that the trading post would have been re-opened for amiibo trading and the address field in your profile opened back up.

Your very welcome. I myself never used the Trading Post so I really don't know the specifics of how it worked. I've seen the procedure on paper by another Mod but have never actually done it. I also have a number of "doubles" that I would like to trade!

How do you trade if you cant post address?

The amiibo Card Trading rules state that until we get the Trading Post functioning all the way, you may exchange addresses only in a PT with the two people involved in the trade. It may not be posted on a public board, profile, etc.

If you look at the e-Reader & amiibo Card Trading Board you will see threads where people are making offers and agreeing to trades. Then they are going to a PT where just the two of them are to actually post and exchange their addresses.

I've done a few trades and so far it's gone real well. After we both received our cards we have locked the thread.

Hello, I want to make sure that I'm going to do this right, so I have a few questions.  I am collecting the amiibo cards, like others, and would very much like to find a place to actually trade duplicates for needs.  I've been on ACC for years, so I trust it the most.

From what I've read, the staff is getting together a Trading Post section specific for amiibo cards, but the last I read, it was not ready yet?  So in the meantime, we post want/need threads and once a trade is agreed upon, exchange addresses in PT form?  And only those 16 and above are allowed to do this?

Am I correct so far?  Is there anything I got wrong already?

Do we still need to setup a town and character for the trading post before the trading post section is finished?

Yes, this is correct. Post your want/need lists on the  e-Reader & amiibo Card Trading Board. Then start a PT where only the two of you are to actually exchange addresses.

No, this is not necessary until the Trading Post is up and running.

For you and all of you who are wishing to show duplicate cards, you may be pleased to know that the Devs have got this coded and in the final stages of testing. Keep and eye on the lightbulb on this thread to see when it goes live. The lightbulb will turn blue.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but the trading post doesn't work.  It just doesn't.

None of the individuals its matching us with has Amiibo card sections in their catalogs.  The Amiibo cards in my own catalog aren't clickable.  I'm assuming its still being ironed out?

Since the feedback for e-Reader & amiibo card trading isn't in place. When we have a problem with a trade/trader what is the correct course of action to be taken.

What is it that is needing to be taken place to make this happen?

How do i set up a amiibo catalog?

Super confused on how to actually trade. I'm looking for amiibo cards to trade, but I do not how to set up my catalog of cards I have and I do not know how to search for the amiibo cards others are trading. Considering I have several duplicates, I'd love to trade to add to my collection. Please help

How does trading work do you get the amibo cards in the mail??

Yes, you would go to the Amiibo Card Trading board and see if you can find someone to trade your duplicate cards with. You can make an offer and arrange the trade on the thread on the Trading board but you can not post your address etc. on those public threads. You may only do that in a PT where just the two of you can see the information. Personal information such as that may not be posted in public threads here on ACC. Please be sure and package the cards so they are not damaged and complete the trade in a timely manner.

Hi, I might be a big fool but I can't figure out how to look for amiibo cards for trade on the trading board? I have all of mine in my catalog but I can't select them to trade or find anyone's amiibo cards for trade.
