Something I've noticed is that archived discussions are visible of you're not logged on to ACC, but when you log on and try clicking on one, you're just redirected to the main forums page. Why is that? Are logged on users allowed to reply to archived discussions for some reason, so that's why you're not allowed to see them when you're logged on to prevent new users from bumping really old threads?

Well, sometimes when Googling things related to Animal Crossing, I get results for archived ACC discussions. And it's not like they're not labeled as such either, you can see a big red label saying ARCHIVED. After logging in and then trying to click on an archived discussion, I get redirected to the main forums.

This is also what happens when I click on certain, older, important threads made by mods or admins. Not sure if this is related.

Not sure if it's just because I'm twelve days late (sorry about that, I've been really busy), but I could access that thread while logged on. Is it still not working for you guys?

^ Staff members can see archived threads. I have no idea why.

Frankly, the whole archival system is pretty rickety.

Well, the whole site is pretty old, so I guess a broken archive system is to be expected...
