While I was away Friga decided she wants to leave Cipher and she's in boxes right now
Is there any way to keep her from moving at this point?

I've heard talking can help if you bother her and say "don't go". She might give in, but its unlikely.

Actually I got Pecan to get out of boxes in WW, so actually you can get them out of boxes.

But this is CF, and since CF is similar to WW, the villager can probably get out of boxes.

Yeah, I think villagers move out the day after they are in boxes. I had Pecan in my old GCN town so that's why I didn't want her to go in WW, because she was in my GCN town, and I didn't want to lose another snooty villager.

I don't remember ever being able to talk anyone out of moving once they were in boxes in CF either. Next time one of my villagers in CF decides to move and is in boxes, Ill see if I can't talk them out of moving.

I really liked Mallary when I had her in WW, that's another reason why I didn't want to lose Pecan, because I didn't want to lose another good snooty villager.

just keep talking to a villager who is asking you about moving then choose don't go when he or she is still talking about it, that's what my experience to stop a villager for moving

Yeah.
But I was able to get Pecan out of boxes even though at that point she had boxes in her house, so even if they are in boxes, keep trying.
