We just started a new town in CF a few days ago, using the WiiU. I donated the Wii to Goodwill last year-- I had almost every item except all the paintings....
Our new town has a much different layout, with 2 waterfalls, and 2 bridges, one bridge is the middle of the beach.
We just got Matilda, a black kangaroo with a baby in her pouch. We are DYING she is so so cool.
This game makes me crazy, I love it but I get all into the museum and breeding the flowers. then i want the grass near perfect...... oh well it is fun to start all over, I just wish it was summer, because the bugs are easier to catch to build up $$ than the fish (because you can see which bugs they are).
I like how people are starting to play ACCF again. CF used to be the most hated AC game after NL came out, and probably still is, but after amiibo Festival was revealed, I think people started coming back to it again.
Also, Monday is the game's anniversary, I can't wait to party. Who else is going to celebrate?
I've gone through 3 Wii's just to be able to play CF. The only reason I never bought the WiiU is because there's not a new AC game that's been made for it. I miss being able to wiispeak to my friends when we wiified each other.
I still play occasionally. I never really got into CF, but since NL felt like a chore to play, I'm starting to appreciate the simplicity of the older versions. I just ordered AC: GCN and I'm very excited to play. Nothing can beat Wild World though. That's the game that got me addicted to Animal Crossing.
I still play as well. I thought I lost my game. i stopped about 2 years ago couldnt find it anywhere. when we moved i found it and picked it back up again. with in 5 weeks it was back to perfect town status yay. Now I can't find my new leaf lol.
If i ask a question please dont be rude to me with a smart answer.
I still play City Folk from time to time! When it first came out, I was on EVERY day. However, when New Leaf came out I forgot how nice it was to have a portable copy of the game and sort of dropped City Folk for a little while at least...
I think the game still holds up, but it's basically a clone of Wild World for the big screen. With my full time job and no way to change the store hours, I find it hard to sit down and actually play anymore. Having New Leaf on my DS means I can play a lot more places than just my home so I guess that's why I dropped it...
I just recently started playing City Folk/Let's Go to the City. It's already my favourite game in the series. It feels weird playing it since it feels like it was made after New Leaf due to how good it looks but then I realise that this game came out 9 YEARS ago which makes me feel old. It bothers me when people say it's 'too similar' to Wild World. Wild World didn't even have the City, smooth framerate (CF: constant 60FPS, WW: fluctuating 25 or less FPS) and some other features. Sure, it re-uses most of the music and has a very similar beginning, but the rest feels very different. This game is EXTREMELY underrated (IGN gave it a 7.8 or so out of 10 yet gave HHD a 8.8 or so out of 10 which is very stupid), mainly because of people who claim that Wild World was the best and just love to hate on every other game in the series.
I'm a cat. Chillin' is in my blood, man.
I gave my grandson the WII AC game disc. He loved it 3 years ago when I taught him how to play. Not sure if he still does, but I still have my Wii console. Maybe I can sell it for 60 bucks! The AC game in the Wii was never never satisfying for me. Not like the AC Game Cube and New Leaf.
I went through 3 Wii's and lost 3 towns because the Wii's died. It was my first experience with Animal Crossing, and my friends and I would play and talk to each other through the Wii Speak. We had so much fun playing all kinds of games we came up with. Ah, the memories! Wish we still had legit wifi again, I'd hook up my sister-in-law's Wii U and play it again if I could visit with my friends again.
I had a Wii about 10 years ago, but sadly, it broke, and I gave everything away (games, Wii, Balance Board). Now that I'm retired, and looking for things to do (and playing Pocket Camp on my phone) - I wanted to play City Folk again, so I searched the FB MarketPlace, and found a used Wii! Got some used games, including CF. Started playing again, and I still love it! Still looking for some old Wii games that I used to play, but I'll get there!
