Of course, out of all Carys had said, the only part the Rake really, completely understood was "I'm happy", which would've brought a smile to her own face, if she had a mouth. As it was, all she could do was turn and look back at Carys, but not wanting to leave her without any indication that what she'd said was appreciated, the Rake brought her hand up to her face and traced a smile there, leaving a red smear where the blade made contact.

The longer that Fauriei laid sprawled out on the ground, the brighter red his face became. He hadn't meant to tumble out of the tree, but her kiss had absolutely caught him by surprise. In the middle of his freak out and shock, he'd wound up losing his balance. Once he was on the ground, Arima's laughter just further flustered him, causing him to just glance to the side, as a lame attempt to hide just how much this gesture had gotten to him. "I-I didn't think you'd really kiss me... I've never been kissed by a girl...!" he stammered out, hiding his face behind his hands, only peering at her between his fingers after a few moments. "You can't really blame me for being shocked when a cute girl kisses me..."

Once again, Carys could only watch as the girl traced a little smear along her face, in what she supposed was an attempt at making another crude smile out of Carys's blood, leaving Carys to merely look bemused for a moment before another snort of laughter escaped her. "You're really strange, Rake." She said, smiling lightly. "But that's pretty nice, though I imagine it'd freak someone out if they saw you with that smear of blood on your face." She looked around, as if checking for a towel of sorts to wipe that off, before her eyes fell on the leftover bandages, one of which she picked off the ground and used to wipe off the smear of blood from Rake's face.

Arima floated around Fauriei, still managing to barely contain her laughter as the boy was sprawled out on the ground, and she just barely managed to hold it back when the boy gave his excuse for why he reacted the way he did, though her eyes seemed to sparkle with another way to make fun of the poor boy. "Ooh, you've never been kissed by a girl, huh? Does that mean you've only been kissed by boys?" She said, her smile reaching an apex of wideness. "I didn't know you were a cutie and ALSO gay!" She giggled lightly, still floating around the boy, as if kicking him while he's down, albeit in a very lighthearted and non-malicious way. "That just makes everything even better! Now I get to kiss you again and again and make you feel super red because you're a gay boy and you never get kissed by girls!"

"Blood scares people." The Rake pointed out as Carys wiped it off her face. She turned and indicated the pools of the stuff on the ground. "Maybe it'd be better not to leave any here." She suggested, trying to pick up another rag to help with the cleanup, only to have it fall, in tatters, from her hand, since she couldn't grip it without slicing through it.

"Oh, yeah, I was going to get to those." Carys muttered, too focused on wiping the blood off of Rake's face first to bother with the blood on the ground, but as soon as she'd finished up cleaning her, she knelt down to begin dealing with the blood on the floor, wiping all of that up, too. She glanced back up as Rake sliced through one of the rags with her blade hands, and she shuddered a little, still not used to those blades, even for the time that they'd known each other.

(Well, this got a little stale... think we should cut it off there?)

It would take a little while for the floor to be cleaned... long enough that, inevitably, the Rake got bored. Fortunately, there was plenty to keep her occupied, which she took advantage of fairly easily, first by messing around with the weights again, then by dragging in one of the dummies from the other room and talking to it for a while, apparently not comprehending that it couldn't talk back, and finally, more out of frustration than boredom, combining the two activities rather forcefully.

(If you want to. I'm not even entirely sure how to respond to that.)

After a good long while of cleaning the blood, the floor was, at least, a good deal cleaner than it had been since Carys spilled hers all over said floor. She straightened out, stretching her back a little as she did so, and glanced over at Rake, who seemed to be ferociously beating a training dummy with a weight. Nonplussed, she shook her head a little, before turning to head out of the gym. After all of this, she needed a little nap. All the pain and all the exertion of using her eye wore her out. Besides, she knew that Rake would be there to protect her if things got too dicey, right? She'd be fine, even if this place wasn't all too familiar to her just yet. So, with that thought in mind, she made for the hallway, turning on her heel and making her way back to her room.

Oberon had been unheeding of the change in his own tone towards Ajax, taking the map without fuss or even bothering to look down to it, but as the satyr began to play he quickly found himself deeply invested in this impromptu performance. When the thought had occurred to him he'd only really considered it as something to pass the time by between the two of them, but now Ajax was playing Oberon was simply drawn in, walking alongside Ajax with an amazed, almost enchanted level of interest in his song, with any pretence of a defensive or snobbish attitude rapidly fading away as he listened to the melody.

Timothy did give a small laugh at the joke at the end there, or at least what he'd taken to be a minor joke, but was especially ecstatic to hear Elzen's first offer. "I think I'll be giving those lessons a miss, I won't be doing any sword stuff or magic any time soon," He said politely, before breaking into a truly massive grin, "but study? I do a lot of research- a lot of research, I've done so much very much and that's something I'll definitely want to do sometime soon, soon in the near future!" He exclaimed, starting to speak rather quickly again as he got himself worked up. "I know a lot of things about a lot of things but there's nothing like learning things first hand! This'll be FANTASTIC!" He declared, practically buzzing with energy where he stood, before giving a small shaky, disappointed frown. "...I'll, I'll uh, have to set all my stuff up first, all my stuff's still in the bag and I can't do much while it's in a bag and not set up," He explained, his raw excitement somewhat dampened by practical reality, before he smiled again. "But when it's set up! I'll definitely have to seek you out again!"

Ajax, unperturbed by this sudden change in Oberon, continued to play and sing, his voice and melodies harmonizing as one as he played. However, as he did play, it didn't take him long before he suddenly realized the enraptured silence that seemed to come over Oberon, something that even Ajax knew was wrong, even with his limited knowledge of the boy. So, after a few moments, his playing toned down a little, and his singing kind of petered off, with the last line of his song fading away as he became more and more aware of the fact that he probably enchanted Oberon without even meaning to. As he lowered his lute, he glanced over at Oberon, looking concerned for the boy. "Uh, Obey? A-... Are you okay?" He asked, waving a hand in front of his face while the other kept a hold on his instrument.

After a few more moments of his starry-eyed gazing, Iolo shook his head to break himself out of his reverie, looking back up at Caira. "Well, feel free to explore as you so desire, Ms. Caira. The world is your oyster, as they say." He said, giving as much of a smile as a fox could before turning away and trotting off, heading back towards the entrance to the school. He pushed open the door with his snout, slipping inside, before meandering off in the direction of the library. He poked his head into the library, as if looking around for something, or someone, before noticing the darkness off in one corner of the room, as well as a blanketed body and a stack of books. "... Almirah." Iolo called out, heading into the confines of the library and walking over to where he knew they were, eventually coming upon the stack of books and sitting on his backside, his electricity seeming to light up the dark enclave that Almirah had made his home. "You should come out of there more often. It's not good for your already poor health to be holing yourself up like this." He said, his voice rife with concern.

Ezlen nodded and smiled. "All right, well, if you ever need me, I'm sure you'll find me- I usually find pieces of metal, and if I do, it'll clang against things. Or, when I'm assigned a room, I might be there." He packed up, glad that he was at least helping in some way.

If it was possible for the blush on Fauriei's face to become any brighter red, then it did. It seemed that Arima had a knack of taking anything he had to say out of context and then teasing him relentlessly with it. "S-Stop! That's not it at all. The only reason I've been kissed by just boys is because they all think I'm a girl. I think it should be pretty obvious by now that I'm not... I'm not that feminine or anything. B-Besides... I'm so not gay. I like girls, too, so that does't mean you can kiss me whenever you want to," he stammered, subconsciously shielding his lips with his hand, as if this could protect them. "And even if I was, that still doesn't give you the right to just kiss me in an attempt to embarrass me all the time. That's basically and invasion of my privacy. A-And it's not funny, either." True, he was sure that him tumbling out of the tree had been quite the sight, but having a cute girl like Arima threatening to kiss him all the time for that reason was making him a bit uncomfortable. Besides, he definitely didn't want to get the wrong idea.

Beauregard had been slinking around the dark building for quite some time now, trying to remain safely out of reach of the sunlight, although it was tempting considering all of the new faces that seemed to be encroaching on the place. Being outside right now would just ultimately drain him and put him in a bad mood, however, and he wasn't exactly the biggest socialite either. Being a giant introvert and part of the undead for over one hundred years tended to do that to you. He was shy, too, of course, so that deterred him from approaching anyone, and usually his way of responding to any interaction was a lot of frantic talking and bawling his eyes out, not exactly behavior he'd consider ideal for a vampire. With a little sigh, though, he held the book he was reading close to his chest, continuing to look for a somewhat peaceful and dark place that he could go to read for a little while, at least until he crossed paths with the headmaster or another soul.

The only reason Arima tried her hardest to take whatever Fau said out of context was because he was so susceptible to her teasing that it was just the funniest thing in the world for her. If he wasn't such a poor kid who wasn't so naive, maybe this wouldn't be as fun for her, but since she'd basically hit the jackpot and gotten the perfect person to tease, this made her attempts TO tease him all the more perfect since she was guaranteed a wonderful reaction. "Riiiight, that's your excuse. I bet you love being kissed by boys, don't you? I know I like it, I've kissed so many cute boys like you I've lost count. Not too many girls, though. I remember I kissed one girl and it felt really nice, but that's all I can recall." She mused, looking ponderous. "But it's so funny to see you that flustered over someone like me kissing you. It was just one kiss, after all, but you acted like it was that big of a deal. It's hilarious!" She said, smiling down at the boy. She leaned down and put a hand out, though, as if asking if he wanted help up, still smiling.

Oberon had remained quietly listening with his full attention to Ajax and the music he was playing and the song he was singing, unwittingly transfixed by it. As the song ended he didn't seem to notice strait away, mesmerised for a good while longer, before he looked over to Ajax after being prompted by Ajax's attempt to reach out "...W-what? ...Why did you stop?" He asked, still disconcerted and disorientated, and even indignant looking as his wits returned to him steadily following the music and song's early end, giving something of a small shocked scowl as he waved his hand in front of his face. "W-what are you doing!?" He demanded, now sounded thoroughly indignantly confused and even perturbed by Ajax's behaviour which seemed bizarre and out of nowhere to the out-of-touch Oberon, stopping walking in his tracks.

"Oh, I'm sure I will find you when the time comes!" Timothy assured him with a cheery smile. "I'm absolutely sure of it!" He simply let Elzen pack up of his own accord since, even if he was strong enough to carry his cumbersome bag one-handed, it would still be horribly inefficient to lug that around in any attempt to help, so Timothy settled for watching Elzen with a merry look, rocking on his heels again and swinging the bag lightly before blurting out to him. "I'm going to get a room too and I'm going to set up all my stuff there and it'll be my room but also my workplace so, so-so... So well," Here he gave a small shrug, "if you ever need anything, that's probably where I'll be. I'm unparalleled in my areas of expertise, and there's a lot of things I'd be willing to do in exchange for getting some favours, okay?" He said, getting quite serious in this sudden message to Elzen, before beaming joyfully again as if it had been nothing at all. "So I'll see you around!"

"Oh, Iolo!" Amirah's head popped up as he looked down at Iolo from the globe he was laying on.
Shifting his body, Amirah attempted to roll off the globe before being spent into spin. His body caught on to the rotation of the globe for about 5 spins before he stumbled off and on to his feet in front of Iolo. Blinking a few times to pass off the dizziniess, Amirah then looked at Iolo, with what appeared to be hidden bit of light shining in his eyes.
"Did you feel that?" Ignoring Iolo's mention of his health, Amirah continued, "Did you feel it when all those visitor's arrived?"

Shocked by the sudden outburst, Ajax immediately pulled his hand away from Oberon's face, looking hurt and confused by his return to his more indignant nature, and he pulled away from Oberon just slightly, attempting to hide his face from the boy in a meek and submissive manner, stepping away from him, still holding his lute close to his body. "I-I'm sorry... I-I just-... I dunno." Ajax muttered, tears starting to form in his eyes again. "I didn't mean to make you angry, Obey. I'm sorry if I did..." He gave a small hiccup, his ears drooping slightly. "I'll just- I'll just go. I'm sorry, Obey..." He murmured, turning and heading the opposite direction of Oberon, his ears drooped and his head hung low, small sounds that sounded like crying escaping the satyr boy as he walked away from Oberon, clutching his lute close to his body.

"Yes, I did." Iolo replied, nodding his head ever so slightly at the mention of all his visitors, most of which were now patrons of his little home. "I did feel the visitors, Almirah. In fact, I welcomed most of them in with open arms." He said, still sitting down in front of Almirah, his piercing eyes looking directly into the boy's own eyes, as if studying them. "But you really must come out of this little alcove you've created for yourself. It really is not good for your health, my friend." He urged, tilting his head in an apparent concerned manner. "... What has happened to you, Almirah? What's become of you over these past few years?" He asked, now sounding melancholy, the fox's ears drooping slightly.

"Yeah, see you." Ezlen headed off in search of a room for himself, while checking his rather oddly-built watch. His watch didn't seem to have merely a date and time- It also had a lunascope built into it, to warn him of when the next full moon was.

Amirah's smile turned as Iolo once agin brought up the subject of Amirah's health.
"You know how it is..." Amirah tried, before stopping.
"This place...It is just where I belong now...Like if I fall." Amirah looked over to a pile of books and pointed, "You know what would happen over there. But if it were the woods or somewhere else, who knows what could happen? I learned my lesson after being stuck in that well for two weeks."
Amirah sat down next to Iolo, "But how about this. If it makes you feel any better, I'll go outside and say hi to the visitors."

"Sad to say, I don't quite know how it is." Iolo responded, his ears still drooped slightly. "And... you know I gave you a place to stay, Amirah." He glanced over at the pile of books as well, before turning back to Amirah himself. "Yes... this is true, no one knows what would become of you if you were to be out in the woods. I wouldn't even know, though I would search for you, like I did when you were in the well." He said, glancing back over at Amirah as he sat down next to him. "It would make me feel better if you just left this place every so often to begin with. You know as well as I do that you've been in here since I allowed you to stay here, and you know just as well as I do how long that's been. What with the pile of books you've amassed, I wouldn't be surprised if others were to guess at how long you've holed yourself up in here too." He chastised, though not in a mean-spirited manner. Rather, it was in a manner that a friend who was simply looking out for another friend would.

Abilities: As a simple sorceress, she has a great knowledge of magic.  When it comes to practice however, she still has a lot to learn, and still searches for various books that can help her in her studies.  She has only mastered water/ice magic, as she spends most of her interest in art and basic outdoor activities.
Appearance: Tall, Pitch-Black fur and light blue eyes with various dark-blue streaks along her legs, arms, and ears.  She wears very average clothes, usually just a normal t-shirt and jeans.  She is almost always seen equipped with a katana on her back; given by her family.  However, she herself has absolutely no idea how to properly wield it as a weapon and has so far only EVER used it occasionally when she's cooking.
Personality: She is very gentle, fun, light-hearted, though can be extremely shy.  She is mostly a free-spirit, though she is very social only when the occasion calls for it.  She likes to imagine her life as one big adventure when she's active, but even she has her limits.
Miscellaneous: She USED to have a very uncontrolled beast-form as a child, however she has been taught to suppress it so much at such a young age...she no longer has it, giving her a more kind and friendly attitude. She does have flashbacks of some of her past experiences in that form sometimes, but assumes they are simply nightmares.

Kathrine walked down the road, her face in a book as she took a small bag off her back.  "You'd think this would be so much easier!" she sighed, sniffing the bag.  "At least I won't starve....  Now isn't the time though, I gotta rest quickly, and find this place..."

Caira quickly glanced to the direction where Iolo went simply thinking about how nice and hospitable he had been to her, she would have to return the same generosity at some point down the line but she felt that currently she didn't know much about him so trying to guess something he likes would be going out on a whim. She stood near the entrance of the home thinking as what to do next, she was equip to go off and explore somewhere within the countryside and while the temptation was certainly alluring she also felt as though it may be a necessity to try and interact with some other people to become acquainted with them. Noticing a tree stump she sat down and began to ponder as to what to do occasionally reaching for a sip of water within the process. One thing for sure though was that Wayside was going to offer Caira some new opportunities at least. Whether they would be for the better or the worse was something she' find out during the course of her stay.
