Oberon had chosen his direction at random, although he's tried to make it at least make something of an informed guess on what he could gather from the map, but that admittedly wasn't much. Regardless, he walked on with Ajax at his side, still somewhat flustered feeling, but grateful as Ajax began to talk, especially as it turned out to be something he could be dignified while discussing and focusing on. "I suppose you could call it that. Self-enlightenment isn't an inaccurate description, after all." He said, quickly falling back from his blush into a more snobbish way of addressing Ajax as he elaborated, like speaking to an underling or commoner from above. "It's part of my lineage's longstanding tradition, of which I am very... proud to continue." He said, a small bit of his true feelings on the whole experience seeping through. "I shall remain out in this world, isolated from my faerie kin and their protection, until I am finally called to return, after which I shall not only be recognised as an adult citizen but also be declared deserving of the title of faerie prince." After realising how he'd essentially dumped a minor monologue to Ajax he grew embarrassed, losing his stuck up manner briefly again as he again blushed, giving a small smile as he quipped, "...But fortunately, survival is a lot easier nowadays than it used to be."

"Ah, Elzen!" Timothy echoed as he then wrote that down also, scrawling the words larger than the rest of his brief recordings on him, the name going to overlap the stitching binding his hand to his wrist, although his handwriting as already plenty messy even without that factor, his focus on doing this stopping him from responding to much of what Elzen was saying straight away. "That's E-L-Z-E-N, right?". He asked as he checked over the information quickly, before letting out a small giggle and then a knowing sigh. "You're wrong there, however!" He chirped merrily, finishing writing on his arm for now and sliding the pen back into his pocket as he grinned at Elzen. "Well, actually, you are right, but you make some implicit assumptions there. Knowledge most certainly can flourish without written documentation, and additionally I don't plan to die, rendering the whole point moot. ...although, this 'Thoron', what is it?" Timothy asked, not extremely excited to know and sceptical of the possibility of Thor being involved in it's creation, but nonetheless curious enough to ask a little further.
"This is a copy of a Thunder tome that was found by the Romans, but for whatever reason, was translated into Latin, captured by the Arabs, copied extensively by them, and found again after the Crusades and reprinted a few times since printing presses existed. Of course, the one I have is translated into English, and this particular one is a relatively modern translation of the book redone in 1895 by a publishing company in Britain."

Even if Oberon chose the way he went out of pure chance, it wasn't likely that Ajax was going to catch on any time soon. Like he said prior, he was VERY bad at directions, and it wasn't likely that he was going to realize that they were going in a completely wrong way until way later on in their trek, likely far after they've been off the beaten path. If anything, Ajax was just happy to have someone to talk to now, someone who wasn't hostile towards him or trying to steal from him or thinking he was a bandit or whatever, even if he didn't entirely approve of the manner that Oberon spoke to him in next. He supposed it was part of being in a lineage of faeries, but he still didn't like it one bit, and when the boy seemed to falter in his words, he noticed it completely, and a small smirk came across his face for a moment. He still listened intently, however, reverting back to his more quiet demeanor as the smirk wiped away from his face come the point when Oberon blushed once more, and when an actual smile came across the fairy boy's face, Ajax himself blushed lightly. "Y-Yeah, it really is..." He said, meekly, looking away slightly.

Fauriei seemed rather oblivious to the fact that she was merely pretending to be so offended by him, not necessarily because he was dense, but mostly due to how few people he ever interacted with. He wasn't too good at picking up jokes or sarcasm either, although with the few people he'd ever held a conversation with, it was no surprise. "I-I hope so... I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings on purpose or anything," he insisted, easing up once she wiped her eyes, hoping this was a good sign and was possibly moving on from his blunder and sharp-tongued comment. At what she had to say next, he immediately opened his mouth to protest, but before he could manage anything, she took him by surprise when she leaned in and gave his forehead a gentle kiss. This gesture caused a blush to absolutely spread across his face and he quickly looked away in attempt to hide this, "H-Hey! What was that for?"
Somehow, Arima just seemed to know that Fau wouldn't pick up on her more subtle teasing or pries, and she also knew that he wouldn't be able to figure out that she was just pretending to be so offended by his admittedly sharp-tongued comment about her. "I-I know you didn't mean to, Fau, I just..." She wiped her eyes again, giving a small shuddering sigh. "I'm sorry, I'll stop being a big baby, hopefully." She said, smiling lightly, but then grinning when the boy reacted just perfectly to her kiss, giving a little giggle as he asked her what she did that for. "I did that because you're so adorable, silly!" She said, becoming more corporeal again, then returning to kicking her feet back and forth. "Besides, you should see your face right now! It's so red, it looks like steam's gonna come pouring out of your ears or something!" She said, giggling happily.

"I guess it would just be through word of mouth," Caira replied answering the question with haste then proceeding to look around the woods again taking the moment in, the trees lush and crisp with a gentle hue of life shimmering against the tides of the sun. The flowers bursting through the undergrowth in a cacophony of vibrant colour. It's times like this you learn to love life again, to have a bit more hope and just embrace a single moment of pure beauty- frozen in time. Only hearing the whistling of the breezing through the canopy. Bliss.
"Sorry I was distracted..." Caira eventually muttered coming back to her senses and glancing back at the fox trying to keep it in her peripheral vision she didn't want to seem any more ignorant that she felt she had been.

"That's fair enough." Iolo replied, now taking note of the haste that seemed to permeate the girl's voice, still trotting alongside her, even as the other girl and what seemed to be her mannequin friend passed by and headed towards the facility. He, too, looked around at the nature surrounding them, watching the same things Caira did, hearing the same things she did, until he eventually turned back towards her voice, shaking his head lightly. "It's no problem, Caira." He said, though his voice sounded a little dull. "However, I can tell you have no interest continuing in a conversation." He said, getting to the entrance of the school before sitting back down on his haunches. "So, if you may, you can continue on into my facility at your own leisure, and I shall wait for more patrons to arrive. That is, unless you do have interest in continuing a conversation."

"Y-You're not being a big baby. I was being pretty mean and stuff... and I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings. So yeah, I'm really, really sorry," Fauriei mumbled insistently, starting to feel pretty bad at the emotions he'd inadvertently brought upon Arima. He hadn't meant to hurt the ghost girl's feelings, but unintentionally cruel words had slipped right from his mouth. Luckily, she seemed intent on teasing him about the kiss she'd just given his forehead, and as flustered as he was getting over that, it was a welcome change in light of her sadness. "I-I'm not adorable...!" he said, stressing these words, before adding, barely audible, "Besides, I'm only blushing because I've only ever been kissed a few times before."
"It's okay, Fau, I accept your apology." Arima said, smiling lightly as the boy apologized profusely, but just knowing that he meant well and she wasn't entirely sincere about her feelings. That was part of the fun, though, not letting the other person know what they were actually feeling and actually thinking. What was the real fun in just being easily seen through, with no pun intended towards her already corporeal appearance? Of course, as Fauriei insisted that he wasn't adorable and continued reacting just wonderfully to her teasing kiss on the forehead, Arima tilted her head a little, looking at Fau skeptically, before grinning again. "Oh, is that it? Well..." She didn't finish what she may have wanted to say, however, instead leaning in once more and, this time, giving Fau a kiss on the lips.

"Yeah." Oberon agreed back, before feeling a little awkward and trying to find more to say, again blushing a little as he tried not to make a fool out of himself in front of this. "I, uh, as a member of an exalted lineage, I enjoy not getting killed very much, as it happens." He said, sounding a little knowingly pompous as part of the joke, and something of a wry smile crossing his face, which faded a little into a more hopeful look as he tried to see whether he'd impressed him. "B-but anyway! I don't think you've told me your name yet?" Oberon pointed out, as he looked back down to the map for a bit, hoping to actually manage to figure it out while pretending he already had done, shifting the focus onto getting Ajax talking while he did this, though he didn't feel the slightest bit closer than when he'd begun. "And also, you mentioned your tribe... where are they? I haven't seen any traces of other satyrs around here." He remarked idly as he did this.

Timothy raised an eyebrow as Elzen went through a crash course on the book's history, but otherwise listened, starting to get fidgety again until Elzen reached the end, after which he immediately burst out with his first thoughts. "Well, that hardly sounds reliable, now does it? It'll have probably picked up numerous mistranslations and alterations from it's original incarnation by now... no disrespect, of course. It's probably still a fun read!" He added on, not wanting to be too blunt and sour Elzen's attitude towards him; an amiable relationship would make for more compliant subjects when the time came, after all. He gave a small giggle and a proud smirk. "I suppose that all is another advantage of conserving knowledge through taught experience rather than written material."
Ajax wasn't entirely sure how to feel during their little awkward pause as well, though he gave somewhat of a giggle as the boy pompously made another joke, making Ajax smile again. "I imagine you wouldn't. Being alive, I enjoy not dying as well." Ajax joked back, nudging the boy with his shoulder lightly, looking a little happier now that they'd seem to have found common ground with each other, or at least a common goal in mind. When the boy pointed out that he didn't know Ajax's name, Ajax looked confused for a moment, before his eyes widened a little and he blushed lightly, "O-Oh, did I not tell you it? W-Well, my name's Ajax!" He said, smiling lightly through his blush, though it seemed a little awkward. When the boy then mentioned his tribe, as well as where they were, Ajax's smile dropped completely and his eyes seemed to gloss over. He returned his eyes forward, as if adopting a thousand-yard stare, and didn't respond for a good while. "... Dunno." He eventually replied, albeit vaguely, and said nothing after that, just continuing to walk beside Oberon.

"So far, I've found the actual magical notation to be functional. I've even tried 'Wrath of Mjolnir', which is a spell that was used against the Romans at Teutoburg Forest- It essentially summons a powerful thunderstorm, with powerful gales, lightning that causes wood to explode, and rain that can turn dirt roads into rivers of mud. I only used it once- It ended up destroying vast amounts of forest."

Oberon had felt pretty proud of himself when Ajax seemed to take his little joke well, oddly enough considering a noble faerie such as himself had far, far grander things to be proud of than making some random satyr boy smile in amusement (even if he was rather adorable when he looked happy), but nonetheless he also gave a small soft sound of amusement back after he returned the same joke. "So 'Ajax', hm?" He repeated the name to himself quietly, and had opened his mouth to say something else, but then as the question of his tribe was addressed his mirth vanished however, giving way to confusion and concern when Ajax's mood made a complete turnabout. "Uhh... Ajax?" He said gently, lowering the map and sword as they walked, uncertain about what to make of this or what to do. "..H-hey, um, Ajax? ...Ajax, are you okay, AJ?"
~--~--~--~
"...Mhm, hmm, aha, hmm, I see, mmhmm..." Timothy nodded and brought his bag in front of him and held onto it with both hands, rocking on his heels again, starting to feel impatient with the way this conversation was going. Magic was a fun novelty to demonstrate, but it definitely wasn't a speciality for him, and time spent listening to the specifics of this one spell was time he could spent elsewhere, doing things that interested him far more. But still, it would be rude to show he was bored too overtly, so he kept smiling and making sounds of very vague interest, but he certainly didn't put serious effort into hiding his impatience either. When Elzen finished Timothy exclaimed, "Wow, you must be pretty powerful then! Tell me, would you say it's something you learnt, or do you think you were born naturally that powerful?" Timothy asked, seeing the opportunity to delve into what really had him currently interested in Elzen.
If there was anything that snapped Ajax out of his current mood more than anything, it was the nickname that the faerie boy beside him suddenly bestowed upon him. Upon hearing the name 'AJ', Ajax's eyes seemed to return back to their normal state, and he looked over at Oberon, seeming confused for a moment. "... Did you just call me 'AJ'?" He asked, before he suddenly seemed to realize that he did, then snorting with laughter. "Really? AJ?! I haven't heard someone call me that name since I was just a little fawn...!" He said, practically cracking up, holding his stomach as he doubled over with laughter. The laughter continued on for a good few moments, before Ajax straightened up, wiping his eyes lightly, then smiling. "Wow... I dunno why that was so funny, but it was. But I like that nickname, so I'll keep it." He said, grinning at Oberon. "With THAT in mind, do you have a nickname or something? Maybe like 'Obey' or something?" He asked, just taking a shot in the dark at the subject of nicknames.

"Magic is what you make it; Anyone can master it, but of course, it's hard dedication, and if you use a spell that's too powerful for you at a given time, you can hurt yourself quite severely. When I used that spell- Which was far too advanced at that time- I ended up being seriously injured and spent weeks trying to heal from it."

Even if it was exactly what he wanted, Oberon himself was a little surprised by this, having not even particularly realised he'd actually said the little nickname and slightly embarrassed by such slip of the tongue, however it seemed to go over exceptionally well, so he felt very relieved about this and also Ajax's incredibly improved mood, giving a delighted if still mildly confused smile as Ajax began to laugh and reminisce. "Well, if that isn't a coincidence, if I've ever heard one!" He pointed out with a chuckle of his own as Ajax began to calm down form the strongest of his laughter, only to suddenly look surprised as Ajax turned to giving him a nickname as well as a little flustered at the prospect, again bringing up the map and with it, his sword, and looking down at it with renewed interest to hide his reaction before ending up peaking up and looking to Ajax anyway, his eyes widening and blushing again as Ajax offered 'Obey' as a nickname for him. "O-Obey..? That's..." He began, visibly unsure what to make of this before admitting, rather sheepishly. "That's what the king and queen used to call me- uh, that is my parents. That's what... uh... yeah." He tried to make light of it and his surprise of Ajax's choice, with a shrug and a glance back down to the map, though it only stuck there for the briefest moment before returning to Ajax.
~--~--~--~
Timothy didn't feel like getting his pen out again and writing any of this down yet, but he was taking this in nonetheless, fitting it into the mental profile of information he was constructing about Elzen. "Right, right," Timothy said with another nod, sounding a little hurried and even a little methodical in his questioning as he tried to get to the point, albeit with some semblance of cordiality as he did so, "So your power is about the same level as a destructive thunderstorm, interesting. And in addition, you would say this is all because of nurture, rather than any involvement of nature, correct?" Nurture was the more disappointing option of the two for Timothy, but he figured there still had to be some interesting things about Elzen anyway, even if he had to disregard the mage side of him and focus on his lycanthropy for any valuable potential research.
Ajax didn't seem to mind the slip of the tongue at all. In fact, he'd gotten quite a lot of mileage out of his new acquaintance - could he call Oberon a friend yet? They'd been sharing in quite a bit of personal things since meeting each other, so maybe they were becoming friends of sorts. If anything, being with the boy had made him far happier than he had been in a good while, especially since... no, he didn't want to think about that. He never wanted to think about that again. He shook his head lightly, returning his eyes to Oberon, and he gave a small smile when the boy brought up the sheer coincidence of the nickname he'd christened upon Ajax, nodding lightly. "Yeah, it is a coincidence. I really haven't heard that nickname since I was a fawn, so it's kinda surreal to have it come back now that I'm like a fully grown satyr." He said, shrugging his shoulders lightly, his ears twitching. When the boy then admitted that the nickname 'Obey' was used by his mother and father as well, Ajax's head tilted curiously, "Really? Wow... that's a pretty big coincidence too, huh?" He asked. "Well, that's pretty cool, then, that we have these mutual nicknames or whatever! They'll help when we become even better friends!" He said, optimistically, knowing that the other boy would probably deny that they were friends. He was just optimistic that they probably were friends to begin with, even though they'd only known each other for about a half-hour.

"I wouldn't say I have the power of a thunderstorm as is- That would be absurd. I can certainly create the conditions for one to start, and have moderate power, but when in the presence of lightning, I do get a significant boost, as I have an external source of natural lightning that I can work with."

Once Carys had a room, the Rake quietly shuffled into a corner, sat down, and slumped against it, appearing in almost no time to be a harmless wooden dummy... as out of place as that was. She'd stay that way until either Carys decided to leave or something else made its way into that room. The odds of Carys being threatened here were fairly low, so Rake would treat any intruders with caution, rather than outright hostility.

As soon as The Rake went and slumped into her corner, practically transforming into that of a harmless dummy, Carys tilted her head at the sight, looking bemused. "... Okay, that is probably the creepiest thing I've ever seen." She remarked, her expression slightly skewed. "Besides, what are people gonna think if they come into my room and see a dummy in the corner?" She asked, mostly to herself, "I mean, that's probably gonna creep people out a little... right?" She was more than aware that Rake probably wouldn't respond to her, but those questions kept coming out anyhow, all in that bemused tone.

Figured... Carys thought to herself, looking around the room. She was getting a little uncomfortable having what was basically a comatose dummy in her room, and she was trying to find a way to remedy the supreme uncomfortableness. So, without much further ado, she began setting her room up a little, trying her best to keep her eyes away from the dummy in the corner, only to have herself be brought back to it every so often. She frowned a little, wondering what to do, before shaking her head. "God, this is weird... forget it, I'm going outside to clear my head..." She mumbled, heading for the door.

Right on cue, the Rake sprang to her feet, as though pulled up by a set of invisible strings. Aside from the sudden movement, nothing about her suggested she was at all alarmed... if anything, she seemed eager to get on the move again. She didn't have any means of showing it, but even just sitting there for the past few minutes had bored her to no end, and she was more than ready to come out of it and start walking around again.

When Rake sprang to her feet following Carys's departure of her room, Carys very nearly jumped at the sight of it, caught off guard by the sudden movement from a then-comatose dummy, but considering how much she'd come to know Rake over the time they'd been together, she didn't give too much of a reaction outside of merely jumping, albeit she did look slightly confused. "... Okay, then." She said, still heading out of her room. "I... I guess you're following me, then?"

Of course, this was exactly what the Rake was doing. Carys hadn't given her much of an indication that she DIDN'T want the Rake following her around... or, at least, none that she'd picked up on. Her original maker wanted her around all the time for protection, and the Rake had yet to adapt out of this behavior.
