I'm trying to find an easy way to transfer pics taken in ACNL from my New 3DS XL to my computer. With my old 3DS XL it was a simple matter of removing the SD card and inserting it into a card slot on my PC. The New 3DS XL, of course, uses a Micro SD card which is hidden behind a backplate that can only be removed with the aid of a screwdriver.

I've tried sending the pics as GMail attachments via the 3DS' browser and that does work but you can't select more than a single photo at a time which slows up the whole process.

So if anyone has any tips for quickly transferring photos from a 3DS I'd love to hear them. Many thanks.

Also if anyone doesn't know how to share photos by your 3ds WITHOUT removing the SD card. It's easy!! On the home page go to the little house/tool in the upper left corner. Scroll all the way down until you see the button for NINTENDO 3DS IMAGE SHARE. Hit that and you can log into TWITTER, TUMBLR, and FACEBOOK. Easy as can be!!.

I think those still restrict you to one pic uploading at a time. I've been using miiverse (one at a time too, the moment I take the pic) and it's not fun that way either.

You're right cicee, you can only do one at a time.
I look so forward to the time I upload all the new GW town/house pics.

I am will feel sorry for all my friends on Facebook when I do because it will explode all their phone notifications.

Thanks all for your suggestions. Facebook and the other social media options are not really for me as I shoot a lot of pics and like to edit them before showing/inflicting them on others.

Guess I'll have to continue emailing them to myself one at a time - or opening up my 3DS XL periodically and pulling out the Micro SD card.

That makes the new 3DS a little less than.

I occasionally will upload some of my better pictures to FB. But I just finished uploading my current batch, from 8/9 to 9/6 and that was 122 photos. So loading that to FB one by one just isn't good.
