I was looking on my profile and saw nooks cranny. It said closed and in brackets open in 0 hours and 23 mins. What is it?

It meant that the shop would open in 23 minutes but was currently closed.

It means that you've either just started the game, or you haven't filled in the town data in your profile. You can specify which Nook's store you have and which Ordinance is active. Those two facts determine the opening times of your store.

Nook's Cranny appeared in the three previous versions of the game. In AC:NL, it's called Nooklings Junction.
