Buying Cubeworld for sure. Nearly downloaded several viruses on the computer while trying to buy the real version, and wasted £15 on a game that to this day remains in bare bones alpha.
Also regret selling Super Mario 64 DS, it was my first DS game and I really want to go back and play it again.

So many purchases. I regret buying the Devil May Cry HD Collection. I got it because it was on sale and I'd heard great things about the series but the first game is terrible and I don't think I'll ever finish it, which bothers me because I hate having unbeaten games.
I regret selling my PS2, PS3, Wii U (I bought one again), 3DS (sold mine multiple times), and a ton of other games.
I feel so bad afterwards, even with extra cash, in the end unless you sell them for regular price, you won't get much for it at trade-in stores, and I ended up wasting probably hundreds of dollars. Since it's hard not to want to trade something in, I'm going to buy all my games digitally from now on since then I won't be able to sell it.
I still have my PS2 games, I'll just need to re-purchase a PS2 because it was my childhood.

Trying to catch a Pokemon that I never caught, right before a shiny golbat showed up, leaving me with only like 5 pokeballs... I never caught the shiny... I want to slam my face on the wall 5 times talking about it

Buying the witcher 1& 2, I got them both on sale but ended up not liking the combat in the first, (i thought it felt like a rhythm game) and I don't want to go to the second without playing the first. :L
Quitting. It's surprisingly hard to get back into it.
"I don't even want to think about all the Steam games I haven't even played yet"
Lol my computer crashed the week after I spent 100$ during the Steam Summer sale and has just been sitting there in a sad gold mine. ;-; I've currently got an OK PC that I'm upgrading to use now to play them but like... 2 years of inaccessibility.
"I regret buying Destiny. I trusted Bungie because I'm a Halo fan."
We all did. We all diiiiiiiid. Boyfriend still plays it because there's nothing else to play atm.
"Also regret selling Super Mario 64 DS, it was my first DS game and I really want to go back and play it again."
I have a sudden need to figure out where I put that game... Thanks.
"Giving away my PS1"
The PS1 startup sound is one of my ringtones lol. Someone enhanced it and cleared it up and when people call I get to cry.
"Trust me when I say it could probably be worse. Unless it already is, in which case we're both too far gone and will never escape."
Oh my, that's a lot. But I had a whole shelf chock full of games I took out of the wrapper but then just sat there to collect dust. I recently put them in a drawer and only display my AC games on the shelf, but even then there's ones I never use. **ahemwildworldandcityfolkahem**
But yeah basically I never play any of my games except AC:GC and AC:NL.
"I feel like it would be better if they just made the combat skyrim/dark souls-ish "
Yeah, it would probably be a lot better. But the combat is the major downfall of that entire series. Also, 2 was just boring to me. The story was uninteresting. It was hard to maneuver too, the inventory system was convoluted.
Oh, and when I saw Xenoblade Chronicles at GameStop for fifty bucks. I thought, "Chuggaaconroy's playing this game. It looks okay." Then put it back on the shelf, without realizing how expensive it is online. Thirteen year old me had no idea that that game would become my favorite game ever.

I somewhat regret buying The Witcher 3 and the Collector's Edition Strategy Guide. I honestly just bought the OSG because the cover of the book looked amazing and I love buying guides for RPGs and Assassins' Creed (those are the only guides I buy). Anyways, I only opened the guide once and now it's in my drawer. I forgot how overwhelming The Witcher 3 looks since that's my first Witcher game. I only played 5 hours and I stopped playing it due to Splatoon releasing not too long afterwards.
Do I regret buying the game itself? No. Do I regret buying the guide? YES. Do I regret the moment when I stopped playing Witcher 3? Yup. Now I have to re-learn all the controls again.
