Just introduced a friend into game and looking to visit others.  I'm a completionists so any interest in finishing the catalog is an added interest of mine...  

I've been playing this game since it was released (though just now getting really back into it again and coming back to the ACC website). I definitely am hoping to complete the catalog! I wish there was more storage space for items that couldn't be ordered by catalog, though. I'm probably going to have to start using the Postal Service storage when I decide to clean up a bit, since currenly my basement, custom museum rooms, and vast swathes of my town are being used to hold gyroids and Gracie items and other unorderable rarities (not having things lying around on the ground would also let me invite people over more often which would be nice).

I'm trying for everything too, although I won't hold my breathe for even a bronze streetpass badge... but the catalog and badges I really wanna fill!!!

I you can acquire an old Linksys router, you can set up a streetpass device at home and receive hundreds of streetpasses around the world easily.   It's what I do.

It's what I've done as well. Both my mayors have gold streetpass badges. I let my two consoles streetpass three times a day and got three times six streetpasses through my Homepass, of which three were for ACNL. That's six houses in the HHA each and every day. Hence, it only takes 167 days. Not even six months! If you have one console, you can still do it within a year.

It involves some work, though. You have to empty Mii Plaza three times a day too. But for a genuine completionist, this is easy going. It's no harder than earning the Dream badges or the island medal badges, I would say.

I've only recently discovered how to set up my MacBook as a Nintendo Zone. Don't need a router to have a NZ. In my old setup, I couldn't spoof the MAC address, on my MacBook NZ, it's very easy. But I don't need all these Streetpasses anymore.

Yes but I want all my players badges complete.  I have 14 players to complete and don't like the blank spots.
Just need 3 rare letters and the blue argyle tank to complete all players catalogs.


Catalog parties are very helpful.  If it's a clothing catalog party someone posted that wearing a wetsuit makes it go faster.  You just get an option of putting it on the ground.  Wish I had that tip when I placed all the clothing on the beach for my towns to catalog.  It would have gone faster.

One mayor has completed all badges except for the streetpass one.  She just got silver.  I'm now making sure my 3DS tag each other every day.  I should be done in a year.  At home router things isn't allow.

Also noticed that when that mayor received her streetpass silver badge she didn't have 300 tags.  Last summer I switched the card to a different 3DS.  Think the cartridge saved the tags from my other 3DS.
I didn't move the SD card to the different 3DS because I had digital ACNL on both systems.
