I was introduced to animal crossing when I was eight years old. I saw my mom playing it on our gamecube and asked if I could make a character. Ever since then I've been hooked. For ten years I've been obsessed with the animal crossing franchise and can't wait to see where it goes. So looking back on all the hours spent playing this game, that have probably translated to years of my life, I started to think about all the ways it has shaped me.
I think animal crossing has taught me how to be kind to my neighbors and care about the enviroment A LOT. I always wanted to plant trees in my backyard when I was younger and I've actually become a gardener. Also, it has made me money conscious; teaching me to save up and pay my debts off.
How about you guys?

Cherries, windflowers, and whatever else you can find!
I've noticed that when I see fish or bugs that are in the game, I get excited because I know what the name is. I also learned about new fruits we don't have here in America (lychee, durian, etc.) I actually really like lychee now! Ultimately, I think the game taught me about things in the world I would've never heard of if I hadn't payed the game. Thanks Nintendo!!
