I was wondering how many of you play the Sims series or have played it before and what your thoughts are about the games in comparison.
I have been playing both series for years and they both have things in common, like both being virtual worlds and being able to interact with different characters, but are also very different in what the goals are in the game and how you play them.
Here are my thoughts:
The games in the Animal Crossing series are all very fun, happy games. You can sit and play these games for hours! Although it may seem simple, there are many things that you can work towards and many things you can do. One of my favourite features in the game is that you are able to connect with people from all over the world and actively interact with them. You can connect with other people in the Sims as well (in the newer games) but it's not quite as interactive as AC. The Sims though, is a more realistic game, allowing you to do more than just play with your character, you can full on create their look, clothing, house, garden. You can sort of do this in AC too, but it's not quite the same. I do believe, though, that the Sims games would be overall more complex, and not quite as simple as AC. I play both these games a lot, but I would say I am playing Sims a bit more than AC at the moment. Both of these games are great, I'm not even sure if I have a definite favourite, but I would love to see what you guys think about them too!
