Topic: How do you post invisible words?

I haven't used the websites coding feature in forever. I think that it was referred to as "Markup", right? Anyway I always type it in manually instead of using the built in buttons. And I forgot how it went. Like you type in something like {color=red} {/color}  or  {color=17} {/color}  right? But what number or color do I use to make my text invisible on public forums or private threads?

Also, what else is there? Like isn't there a way to make a line through the screen to separate paragraphs? And isn't there a way to quote other peoples posts using this code? And what other special features are there? And what are the codes for them?

Also, if you click like you are going to make a post, you will see a line of symbols and a right above the box where you will type your post. These are some of the things you can add to your posts and the explanation for using them.

If you want to make a word invisible make it yellow or pink cuz old people can't read them without glasses.

1 My reply: Yes but I want to see the code myself. Like the {Color=} stuff. I want people to post the code for me in text so that I can see and read it here myself.

2 And I still don't know the color for invisible? I remember that there was a crazy complex number or coding sequence to make text color the exact color of this background right here. You see this off blue or light gray box that my text is in? What color is that? And what is the coding to make text this particular color?

When you click on an icon in the Quick Markup tool, it will paste the start and end tags into your message for you to see and then add text between them. The markup to make text invisible is the spoiler tag, which is the 7th icon.

When you hit the spoiler button, it will put the code into the post you are making.  All you need to do is put the text in the middle.

Are you talking about in a post or in your profile?

If you are doing it in a post, just use the spoiler code.  I'm sure you could figure out the colour, but it's a lot easier to just use a spoiler.

If it is in your profile then there is a 6 digit number, but I don't remember it.

One of them is baccdd. Don't remember if that's for posts or profiles. Let me check.

Can you read this?

EDIT: Apparently it's for posts.

I think you're thinking of back when invisible text in your profile had to be the color D3E0F8 due to it being a slightly different shade. Spoilers now work in both posts and profiles though, so it's no longer necessary to use that code.

Yes but I don't want to use spoilers, I specifically wanted to know the color number??? I just really wish that there was a list somewhere of colors and their number codes.

Spoilers function exactly the same as changing the color to be the same as the background color. There's no "Click to show spoiler" button as you sometimes see on other sites - all it does is make the text invisible.

But if you insist on wanting the color codes, they've all been posted in this thread already. 707penguin posted the one for public & private posts (baccdd), and Dimentio95 mentioned the one for profiles (D3E0F8).
