I’m thinking of letting a couple of villagers go so that I can get two dreamies, however there was a trick to prevent the Dorothy Effect.  It used to be on this board but I don’t see it any more.   What is the technique to prevent the villagers from plopping anywhere? Thanks.

Create a new character in your town,
Check around town to see where the new villager's plot landed,

If the house is in a good place save your game with the new character.
You can then after saving delete the new character.

If it isn't in a good place, reset without saving,
and create another new character until the villager house is where you wanted.
