I'm excited but I might not get it right away because I'm saving for a WII u 2 games for it AND majoras mask 3D

I just find that I don't have the time to play NL's lengthy chores. I absolutely adore my Tomodachi Life file; I'll probably play it once I'm done writing this paper. Of course, I unfortunately haven't played in months like NL, but it's a different feeling. I feel like I'm missing a lot by not playing Tomodachi Life, but NL I feel like I should check in once in a while. There's a reason I play it more in the summer, if at all, than any other season. Tomodachi Life's chores are, arguably, more fun, too. Then again, my Islanders are my OCs so great things come out of their antics just because of the fact they're my babies.

Anyway, despite the fact that I don't know if a full $40 is what HHD is worth, I might end up playing it more than NL. Who wouldn't love picking it up in a bout of creative frustration and design a couple homes?

We are already working on a way to trade cards through the site. Of course, the problem is how we exchange personal information. Hopefully we will have it figured out and be able to announce something soon.

I just pre-downloaded it. I'm having my wisdom teeth out the day before so HHD will give me something to do while I'm recovering lol.

I still hate NL, the only fun that comes out of it is Club Tortimer. I mean, you have to unlock K.K. Slider, and hes the heart of the series. What fun is it if everything's locked. I mean, you have to unlock buildings in HHD by doing a few villager house requests, but its not like everything's locked and its extremely hard to get. It even takes a long time to do the big new feature in NL; being the mayor.

This is why I like CF better. I hope HHD turns out to be much more fun than NL. Theres still the problem of the characters having fur and being taller, but that's just because they recycled the models from NL. It seems like most of my dreamies are series 1 cards too, including my favorite that isn't Champ, Eugene, so that's nice.

Agreed... I AM becoming you! I mean if it's locked and only takes small achievements to get, I don't care, but NL sorta went too far.

Same. I'm not a big fan of the whole randomized card thing for this... It was flawless up until this. Still, I dunno how else it would be done.

I just got mine done in June, so PT me if you have any worries! HHD will definitely distract you once you're up to doing anything at all. You'll be stuck on your butt for a few days.

I just hope HHD doesn't flop for all the hype it's getting. This thread made me much more excited for it. <3

I did a little research and watched a few youtube videos of people who have the Japanese version and learned some very helpful information! I personally, like reading Nintendo Life's post because they can usually weed out well lol the good, the bad and the ugly in every game, app or anything that comes from the Eshop! They have 2 pieces written about HHD so if anyone wants to read them, here they are! This one is getting kind of an insider on the ins and outs of the big changes to the game. While this post goes through more of the pros and cons of the game and gives their opinions on if they thought the game was worth it. It really sold me on the game!

Don't get me wrong. I still LOVE NL and have been playing it everyday for a year! But HHD is a welcome change to the series, whether you call it a mini game or not. It's different and really lets you go crazy!

Does this mean you will get addicted to CF so much that you will play it everyday and you'll be more worried about your wii breaking than your wii u, like me?

I'm surprised my old 3DS XL hasn't broken. Its not really broken or anything, all buttons work and it plays fine, but the graphics are sorta odd and if you put it in a certain position it turns off. I'm glad I'll be getting my New 3DS this Christmas.

I think something similar happened with Tangy on CF. One day, Tangy and her house just disappeared, without warning. I never saw her ever again.

I doubt they do since
a) if it's from an amiibo card someone spent money on that villager
b) I think you have unlimited space

I meant random villagers. Also, you could just scan the card again if amiibo villagers did move out.

When I saw Eugene had a card, I was so happy. (thanks wikia) I love Eugene and he was one of my first favorite smugs, before I even started liking Tex.

If I ever had to restart my town for some reason, (like getting back into it after months and Canberra or O'Hare moves out) I would make Eugene a dreamie.

I already have it pre-downloaded! But I got up really early this morning and I don't know if I can stay awake until midnight. Oh well, it will be there as soon as I get up tomorrow, in any case.

I'm interested to go and get some cards tomorrow and see how that all works.

It looks cool, but I'm not getting it. Carrie's in it, and that's bad news for me. We'll get in a fight, and then her house plans will get canceled because I don't like her. Lottie's gonna have to break the fight up. Back on topic, it looks cool.
