Anyways, who plays this game and what are your opinions on it?


As of now, episodes 1 through 3 have released.

I just finished playing the 3rd episode and all I can say is wow. Those ending segments completely shocked me!

Getting all Back to the Future up in here...

I think it's a pretty awful game.

I'm probably going to replay all the episodes again to attempt to collect all the optional pictures achievements. Plus, I'm slightly confused with the whole story, and I want to tie up loose ends.

I can't wait for episode 4 though, which will probably release in July.

I don't play this game myself, but planning on pulling an all nighter tonight so I can watch Jacksepticeye play it. He is my favourite youtuber and I love watching Life is Strange with a little cup of tea and snuggled in bed. Anyway, it looks like a decent game, though the dialog can get cringe-worthy at times.

Just watched the trailer for Life is Strange. Reminds me of Heavy Rain, The Walking Dead and Beyond: Two Souls. Looks amazing! My birthday is coming up. Definitely going to get this game.

^ It's a great game! Some if its dialogue is cringe-worthy, as stated above, but if you look over that, it's great.

I really liked the first episode, the second episode was slightly more frustrating than anything, and the third episode blew me away. The ending leaves you completely speechless. I didn't realize how I could get so attached to these characters.

accfluvr165 According to your signature, you like the same games as me (Heavy Rain had such a beautiful story). I will probably find Life is Strange tons of fun. Thanks for posting about it. Never heard of this game until now.

I just watched the third episode and I can't get over the ending just wow. It blew me away. Round of applause.

^ I'd love to! I don't quite have any fan theories yet, nor have I really looked into it, but after the third episode, I feel like Max and Rachel might be the same person. I'm probably wrong but oh well.

That's been my theory from day one. It's a game about time travel, of COURSE that's in the plotline somewhere. >And don't worry about the facial difference. That's nothing that can't be explained away with makeup, time, and the like. Bone structure's basically the same, as is the skin tone. The rest is easily explained.<

Life is Strange is potentially my favourite game EVER. It's had me in tears, and also so stunned that my jaw dropped and I think I stayed like that for about 5 minutes afterwards. Literally insane, can't wait for the next episode! Also, the theory I just read above is really interesting, I hadn't even thought of that!

Okay, so I finally got the game, played it, had a lot of fun. One tiny problem: It does not save. I have no clue what to do now I was playing chapter 1 all afternoon and finished it, so I decided to download the second chapter. When the download was finished, I went to play the game only to have it notify me about not completing the previous chapter. I am going to replay it and pray it saves this time, but come on, Square Enix, this is ridiculous.

^ I'm so sorry to hear that you've been experiencing problems! Just out of curiosity, what system are you playing on? (PC/Xbox One/PS4/PS3/Xbox 360, etc.)


The game should save automatically during certain points in every episode and, considering you completed the first episode, it usually saves at least five times throughout the whole episode.

I play on my Xbox One and haven't noticed any glitches or bugs but one thing that might work is to re-install the game and when you replay the episode, make sure you see the 'save' icon on the lower right of the screen. I can't quite remember what the save icon looks like but I think it's either a camera (that might be the loading icon though) or a butterfly animation.

If you never notice a save icon appear during the first 10-20 minutes of starting, then I'm not sure what to do other than to re-install the game.


You could probably search the issue online if all else fails.

Thanks for the reply But nah, I'm just an idiot... I figured out the problem. So uh... I kinda clicked Save File 2 instead of Save File 1 (you know, the slot my game was saved in). Yeah. I'm smart like that.

Ah, well at least it turned out well in the end!

Nah, that's not the only reason. I seem to always pick the bad choices in these games.

Right?! lol I lied to everyone and it came back to bite me in the second chapter. According to Chloe's dad, I'm a weed head. In reality, I'm just a pathological liar.

Kinda off topic... but is Warren creeping anyone else out? I've been pushing him away, but he's like the Overly Attached Girlfriend on YouTube.

^ In my opinion, I think Warren is being too pushy as a friend. He keeps texting and trying to contact Max all the time (which I understand that's part of being friends) but after all that Max goes through in the first 2 episodes, from learning about her time travel abilities to some more serious stuff happening at Blackwell Academy, I think Warren needs to realize that Max is still trying to deal with the current situation she's in.

I mean, I guess it's slightly okay if Warren is just doing all this to get Max's mind off of things, but still.

That's what I thought too. Ha, you know what else Warren reminds me of? Pepé Le Pew. Oh, and Max can be that female skunk Pepé always follows around. (Did that skunk ever have a name?)

Warren's like, a massive stalker too. This is what goes through his mind: "Oh Maxeth! Howeth I loveth thee! I shall portrayeth my loveth as I stalketh you frometh your bedroom windoweth as you changeth your clotheths!"

Like seriously. This dude needs a hobby. Bad.

Okay... Just finished episode 3... So uh... The game just completely changed Chloe's character. I loved old Chloe... I'm shocked and annoyed. Gahhh! Why did they do that?!

Now Warren's the least of my problems. I need to close my PS3 for a few minutes and calm down. That ending was intense. What the heck did I just play?

A new episode releases every 2 months so we should get the fourth episode by mid-late July. The wait is the worst part.
