Yea, it's insane how many items are in this game! I have to admit I'm pretty slow though I haven't even fully expanded my mayor's house yet & my 2 helpers still have 1 room homes

Nope, not even close. And I've been playing since launch as well! Although, I have 2 houses fully built and I'm only 1 fish, 3 bugs, and 5 diving items away from completion on my encyclopedias.

Who would win in a fight, Indiana Jones or Han Solo?
All three mayor and two side players have everything except for a few International items and three rare paper.
I just need three international furniture and a blue argyle tank. The rare paper I have to wait for villager to sent.
I just started another new town and this time around I'm letting all my players catalog the items before they get placed in the house or sold. I made that mistake in my main town and had to order everything again so my side players could catalog it. I'm working on side players badges in all my towns. It should keep me very busy.
stitchmaker - Wow, that's awesome! I didn't realize I could get paper from villagers? How does that work? Does it catalog the paper for me that they wrote their letter on?
My hubby has a town now but he never plays so I think I might use it to TT around & get special events items I've missed...not sure yet. I've never been able to get the holiday sets since they occur on the actual holidays and I'm busy with real life & family things. I used to be completely against TT but after 2 years of playing and only 50% collected, I think I wouldn't feel so bad about TT'ing. I'd really like to complete this game before the next one arrives

The villagers will send you letter that you can write on. They send the rare paper to players that don't write that often. Hoping you'll be pen pals. The rare paper are post office, museum, snowman, museum and gallery.
Both my side players received the post office paper from the same villager. They do play when I have time.
For the holidays furniture you have to be careful if you want to play again. Once you touch a piece the game thinks you've played the holiday already. My guest town played Easter first. The main town mayor catalog the pieces and it caused problems when she played Easter in her town. All she got was a lot of repeats. Thankfully I saved them in my saved mail.
Using your husband town for holidays will be very easy. If it's okay you can clear most of the PWP, trees, shrubs and flowers for the snow family. I was able to complete the set in one night by Tting. It was a good place to practice making the snowpeople. Once I figured out the snowboy I could do it in my sleep.
Also a good place to catalog if you have side players. Drop the set in your husband town and than send them over to catalog it. I like having side players with all the items in their catalog. Give you three players that can order items in one day. 60 items are better than just 20 items.
While your TTing you could do your side players fishing/bug collection. Get an extra golden fishing rod and net. I've completed 14 golden fishing rods and just have a few bugs for 8 players golden net.
I've been playing since the release date and I'm now working on my side players badges. Like you the holiday and real life come first.
I'm almost complete. Really, the only things I'm missing are parts of the harvest and Jingle series because I just couldn't be bothered (don't like them) and can easily get them if I so wish. I do have the blue argyle tank because someone gave it to me, even though it's not officially out.

Riesz's Free Pieces Giveaway - Every Saturday (that's the plan...)
NH islands - Arrokoth (orange, lily, north) and Bludger (peach, mum, south)
One of my friends had the tank as well that I cataloged! I have full furniture, gyriods, socks, shoes, paper, and am so very close to filling everything else up I TT because I would rather choose to play when I want rather than letting time control me Some days or well weeks I have more or less time. It would be a pity to loose time over enjoying life! Also there is the Holiday, Gracie and Katrina factor. TT'ing still takes the same amount of work as it would if I did not but without the limitations.

Wow I'm impressed so many have completed or are super close!! I really want to complete this one but I'm still pretty far away. I'm pretty sure I'm still friends with one of the Goodwill's, I really need to take advantage of it and go catalog some items soon.
I have the Prima guide that I check everything off in. I love flipping through it when I'm bored to see what I have and what I still need. I'm definitely lacking a lot of DLC I can't get the Nintendo Zones in my area to work, so frustrating.

I have my catalog synced with ACC now! I was using morbid or whatever it is called but got annoyed with it being closed lol. So thank you ACC! I have some sets out on my beach if you would like to catalog? If you have some times you can for sure come?

Mandy Yes look for cataloging parties. My friends did shirts in alphabetic order. Another time they did dresses. I found my bear shirt there.
Wear a wetsuit when you go to a clothing catalog party. It faster because it just gives you drop it on the ground. No making a mistake and wearing it. The tip came from a poster. I tried it in my side town and my players catalog everything fast.
Completing the catalogue doesn't seem important to me (though I get why it's a goal for others). I will likely play this for years and not even come close.
