If i ask a question please dont be rude to me with a smart answer.
I actually use a 2DS. It wasn't worth the extra $100 for me to get a 3DS because the 3D gave me a headache. It would've been awesome if they had a 2DS XL! I would have bought that instead!

I love the 3DS XL and the NEW 3DS XL. Play both without the 3D on. When the DS came out I pass because the screen was too small for my eyesight. I love how they said there wasn't going to be a 3DSXL at E3 one year. Two weeks later it was in the stores. Best purchase I've made. The NEW 3DSXL was a gift from my adult children.
Yeah, me too, darkannie. I got the ACNL bundle with the cool 3dsXL. I still have the old 3ds, too. The XL is by far the better deal. I never could turn on the 3D feature though because I get a migraine headache looking at 3D.
I have both a regular 3DS and an XL. I may be one of the few who detests the XL because it's too big. I have to practically hold it at arm's length which isn't comfortable. But it's the golden Zelda one, so I'm never going to part with it. I do have my 2nd town on it, and have learned to play by not really looking. OMG the pixels are huuuge...

Well - first played AC on the Wii in AC:CF. Had built multiple towns, one after another - wonderful game. My fiancee and I both wanted to play - we got a second and she played it in one room, me in the other. Was pretty neat having two though when I moved to Denver ahead of her and we used it to relax and connect.
Got the WiiU and started yet another town. By this time we learned we both wanted to play.
I started AC:NL on a 2DS, just to see how it played. Liked it and for Christmas last year, we both got 3DS XLs. What a treat!
The screens are plenty big for a GG and th controls work well of even her tiny hands. Recommend the 3DSXL hands down

I play on a New 3DS XL. I got it late December last year (it came out earlier in Australia for some reason)
I chose that one because I have two DS's, a Lite and a DSi XL, and I mostly used the XL (poor eyesight, and the Lite has a cracked hinge) so I was more used to XL size, and the normal one/2DS looked so small! I was thinking about getting a 2DS recently, but decided that it wasn't worth it to spend AU$100-$150 on a console I probably use only for transferring items from one game to another, especially when I don't have much money. I wish I knew people who had 3DS's so I could borrow them to transfer items myself

I have a pink 3DS XL & I love it! I waited for the XL to come out before buying one because I have to have the bigger screen. The small screen strains my eyes way too much.

I love the XL for the idea, because I love bigger screens. However, the fact that Nintendo doesn't up the resolution really bothers me. If I hold the DS/3DS at my normal length I see individual pixels, so the picture looks very pixely/bad quality...

For those of you worried about the 3D aspect of the XL, don't be. The 3D is on a sliding bar that goes from being turned off (which mine always is) to somewhat 3D, to fully 3D. Having it set to off, it is the same old 2D we're all used to. And these games that tout amazing new 3D graphics can be played normally in 2D.
I was really wanted to play LOZ: OoT, and MM on an XL handheld, but I was worried about them having 3D in their titles. They play just like we remember with the 3D turned off, and are beautiful on the screen!
Because the screen is larger, there is a slight loss in definition. However, it is an improvement over ds games played on the dsi XL, which seemed downright blurry to me. I don't have any real complaints with the def on the 3ds XL, personally.
I picked up the "pop tart" ACNL bundle when it came out two years ago. I adore my 3DSXL - the smaller screen really makes me squint to see it now.
My only complaint is the amount of light it makes when I'm playing and my husband is trying to sleep!

I play Gamecube for Animal Crossing, CF for Wii, and my WW was stolen at our locked hotel room AFTER I had finally paid off Nook and got the 1.5 million Crown and the 800k Throne; even though I found another one at yard sale for $2 I'm skeptical of playing it after what had happened; but for WW, if I play it again, will be on 3DS XL just like NL
