Congrats new momma!! I have only one child as well. He is 2. Right now, he is really into legos so we play that a lot!! I can't wait until he's a bit older so I can buy him his own 3DS He seems really interested in mine. Both his daddy and I love video games so it's just a matter of time until he gets something to play, LOL!
Congrats ! I have two girls 8 & 16 we are a gamer house too. My younger daughter and I play acnl also all Lego Harry potter's Lego batman, all Lego games on our 360 or Xbox 1. My fav of all is Harry Potter its so fun. I'm disabled so I am home all day and I play alot of games especially my acnl. That's my addiction. I would love to play with other moms but can never find any ??

Craftygirlz - I am a huge fan of the lego games as well and probably played them all LOL! I am so excited for the new lego jurassic world
As far as playing with other moms, I don't think I have any fellow moms on my friends list either. Feel free to add me! I live in Hawaii so I am 6 hours behind ACNL time. I play all hours of the day. Usually whenever my crazy toddler allows me to. Hehe!!
That is definitely something to be proud of! I feel like an old mom my 16 year old is growing up to fast. Now my younger one is just too independent now lol.

I'm an in-between mom! I have a 5 year old son and a 14 month old daughter. We are also a gamer household with not just console games but also a few arcade & pinball machines. I usually don't get to wifi until after their bedtime, and I'm on ACC time, so I've got Night Owl ordinance and usually play anywhere between 10pm-midnight depending on the night.

Who would win in a fight, Indiana Jones or Han Solo?
We have nephews that I turned on to AC about two years ago and sometimes they ask for my DS to play. They are REALLY into Minecraft now so they play with my husband on a server. Nora (our daughter) just looks at the controller when I play. I haven't had her in my lap when I pull out the DS. Can't wait to see her reaction to that!

Vix, I had this whole message typed out and it disappeared. We love pinball machines. Right now dad has one called pinbot. We used to play it on Nintendo back in the day. So for Xmas one year we saved up the money and bought it for him. He also gave my daughter one. Can't think of the name of it. Its still at their place but she plays it everytime we go there.
Kim, my daughter also loves minecraft. Its addicting she says. I personally can't stand it ha ha.

I'm a mom to a 9 y/o. I also have 3 grown stepkids. We're all geeks, so we've got loads of gadgets and games and we all play. Trying to get my kid to spend a bit less time on Minecraft, and the Sims. She is a You Tube addict and will watch videos of people playing Minecraft, Sims, or Five Nights at Freddy's for HOURS. Working on getting her into the real world more often. It's hard though. I figure as long as her homework and chores are done and she's behaving well, her free time should be her free time. I still feel like I let her fritter her life away on the computer / hand helds too long though.

Time travel, don't time travel - it's your game, play AC however you want!
my son turned 9 in march. hes a huge mario (old school and newer mario), pokemon, and minecraft fan. also plays all the lego games on xbox 360 and xbox one. we both have a 2ds, but he only gets 1 hour of game time a day (if hes been good lol)
oh, and if anyone wants, they can send request to add me
My son is 23...so I guess I'm an old mom. That being said he plays everything.. we are a gamer houseold and shooters are very popular here. We (my son and I) play co-op all the time. Gears of War..Borderlands..Diablo..COD..Legos everything. Theres nothing wrong with gaming with your kids...life is too short to worry what others think. We have played co-op on GC since be was 8-9 yrs old. I also game on my own ...hello Sims & GTA5...when my son is busy with his own life...but when we do game together we laugh more often than we should. We have a terrific relationship and enjoy each others company. Fabulous..wouldnt trade it for the world.
He often tells me Im going to be gaming when Im 80,listening to metal or EDM, with my nails painted black. I told him its better than bingo.

Good Girls Go to Heaven, But Bad Girls go Everywhere!!!
I'm the mom who adopted all my kids friends & our home was the hang out place. Now that I'm a grandmother! I'm so enjoying playing & teaching, all over again with the little ones. I'm a gamer who raised gamers (boy & girl) & they married gamers & are now raising 3rd generation gamers. Life is sweet. I've even got the grand kids playing PAC man. I saved all the systems we've ever bought so there is never a dull moment in this house. The grand kids, 6-5-4 yrs. love the play hide & seek with the toy hammers in 1 town I made just for them. One grandson is a whiz at Minecraft (whole bedroom designed & painted Minecraft) & the other grandson is Skylander crazy with Skylander bedroom as well. Even found Skylander knobs for his dresser.
I'm a mom of 2! My daughter just turned 5 and my son is 2 1/2. My daughter is actually just now getting into video games and is getting her own 2DS soon. Right now she likes to play Super Smash Bros and a Hello Kitty game for the DS. She's surprisingly good at SSB. haha
My daughter is 18 but she is not currently playing any games. The only series that has grabbed her over the past 5 years is the Professor Layton series.
My son is 15 and has special needs. I wish he could play Nintendo but he can't figure out the buttons. He's done things on the Wii in school.
I really should get my daughter to sell some of her Nintendo stuff before school starts in the fall.
I have a 3 year old daughter, Evie. She has recently began playing my animal crossing! She likes the encyclopedia with butterflies and fish. She also likes watching when my character does the emotions. It makes me very happy to watch her enjoy the game very differently than how I enjoy it.
I have 2 little boys Russell aged 3 and Michael aged 1, We also live in a gamer house but we've only got a wii and a 360 plus my 3ds and the pc for sims. My 3 year old loves my ds, i think his still a bit little to have his own but i bought him nintendogs so he can play it on mine, he also successfully deleted my acnl saved game so i've had to start over, I really loved my old town too. He likes watching me fish and says ta-da whenever i catch one.
