I'm looking for a way to get pics from my Nintendo to my pc my laptop does not have a area in which a SD card can slot in, does anybody know any other way of transferring pics or if there is a connecting USB out there. I've seen 3DS XL ones but no normal 3ds ones?

Use your DS to connect to the Internet.
I then upload my pics to facebook but others use tumblr/twitter/email
I then download them to my iPad

That's how I get mine.

My DS wouldn't allow me to upload pics from the system to the internet (I think because my clock was set to a false time, but I'm not sure) so I bought a USB SD card reader for $1.50 on ebay and it works great!

I just post them to facebook. If there is a pic I don't want people to see...I just set it to private ('me only'). The pics aren't bad in any way. It's usually just my drawings.

Saving the pictures to your SDcard in your DS, and then transferring the pictures from the SD card to your computer via USB SD card reader is the best way to go. I lucked out and found out that when I purchasaed my tower SD card readers came pre-built.

Like everyone said an external USB SD card reader is probably the easiest and quickest method.
